Any temporary one-day disruptions were resolved quickly, and normal operations were restored without lasting impact on the destination.

The centerpiece of this space is the master bedroom, a sanctuary of tranquility featuring a plush king-size bed. This bedroom boasts direct access to the condo's private pool, offering a seamless transition from rest to relaxation. The en-suite bathroom is exceptionally spacious, complete with a luxurious bathtub, perfect for unwinding in style.



The fully equipped kitchen is a chef's delight, featuring state-of-the-art appliances and sleek design elements. Adjacent to the kitchen, the dining area is ideally positioned to take advantage of the stunning views, making every meal a memorable experience.

Guest Access:

Located in the Avalon building, Avalon 1002 benefits from easy access to the building's amenities while maintaining the exclusivity of a high-end condo.



Any type of noise beyond what is considered reasonable is not permitted in the apartments or the common areas. All residents, guests, or renters have the right to enjoy a tranquil environment. Glass is not permitted in the pool area. Please use cans or plastic cups and containers for beverages. Only music players with personal headphones are allowed in the pool area, boom boxes or amplified music is not allowed. Do not hang clothes, towels, or bathing suits on the glass rails of your balcony or balcony furniture. Please wipe down the equipment with the spray and paper towels provided in the gym.



The building also offers a gym, pool, and a sky bar.



The Neighborhood:

This apartment has a great location in Amapas, near the Romantic Zone and Beach Los Muertos. With a breathtaking ocean view, you'll have sunset views every day. Located in the heights, you'll have the best of both worlds, mountains, and sea.

In La Zona Romantica, you'll be surrounded by awesome restaurants like La Palapa, Margarita's Grill, Joe Jacks Fish Shack, Pancho's Takos, Daiquiri Dick's, Cafe de Olla, Freddy's Tucan, The Pancake House, great bars and nightclubs.



Getting Around:

Uber and taxis are available in the area anytime.



If you require Airport transportation, we have a suburban available for $120 USD. Just let us know if you want the service.



If you have a car, we include private parking with your stay and 24/7 Security.



Other Things to Note:

CHECK-IN: From 3:00 PM. Your concierge will welcome you in the lobby.

CHECK-OUT: At 11:00 AM. Please wait for your concierge to return the keys and check the apartment.

CLEANING: Scheduled cleaning is included in your stay (exceptions may apply).

PETS: ONLY Service animals are admitted with official documentation. $120 USD pet fee per stay.

GARDENING: You must allow the gardeners to enter; otherwise, a $20 USD fee will be charged for each day they are not allowed access.

VISITORS: Max 2 visitors allowed (not overnight). Unauthorized overnight guests will incur a fee.

ENERGY USAGE:

Your stay includes 25 kWh/day. Help us save energy by turning off lights and A/C when not in use.

The unit has NEST AC controllers – we’ll gladly show you how they work.

Recommended settings: 22–24°C (72–75°F), turn off when leaving the apartment. If you set the AC below 72°F, the system will automatically shut off for safety reasons.

Unauthorized overnight guests → $200 USD/night per person

No access for gardeners → $20 USD/day fee

Excessive noise or unauthorized party → $150 USD + possible eviction

Biological waste (e.g., excrement outside toilet, used condoms) → $300 USD (specialized disinfection)

Parties, drugs, or prostitution → $500 USD fine + immediate report

    We stayed here as a family with 2 young kids. If you are planning a trip here with littles see some notes below that may be helpful! The moment you walk into this condo, your breath is taken away by the incredible ocean and city views. We watched the most beautiful sunsets here that we’ve ever witnessed over the ocean! There were a few issues that didn’t take away from the overall experience here. The living room and 2nd bedroom tvs both do not work. The master bedroom was the only working tv, again not a big deal for us. The condo is Incredibly well furnished and decorated with high end and modern finishings- TONS of marble and glass. We were on our kids like glue to ensure no one was hurt and the property was not damaged in any way. Thankfully the kids were well behaved and there were no issues at all however I could see this being challenging for parents of young children. The pool on the balcony is incredible, it was heated and perfect for dipping into at all hours of the day. However, there is an open area that has no glass partition at one end. This could also be hazardous with little children. Thankfully we had no issues with keeping them safe in the pool. The property sits at the top of the Amapas, it was a big climb up and not possible to walk with little kids/a stroller. We had zero issues getting UBER to take us up and down as needed. Daily housekeeping was a great perk! Fantastic staff. Overall we will definitely return!

    The property was outstanding, and the views were incredible. Everything in the listing description was spot on. The community pool was also extremely nice with great views over the city. The private pool attached to the unit was so great to hang out in and watch the sunset. Our only issue was that you only got about two minutes of hot water while taking a shower. After about 4 to 5 minutes, the water just turned completely cold. It was to the point we had to go down to the gym to shower.Damaris, the representative who checked us in, was outstanding. She placed numerous calls to building maintenance to have the issue rectified. I believe the issue was mishandled by building maintenance. We were actually in the unit when they came up on one of the visits and did absolutely nothing. At this price point I would not expect to deal with this type of situation. We reached out to the company to see if we could get some type of minimal refund such as 50 a day for all the inconvenience it caused, but they never replied back. There is a beautiful bathtub in the unit that we were unable to use because of this issue. My advice is make completely sure that the hot water situation has been fixed if contemplating this unit.

    Although we ended up in 801 instead of 1002, the place was amazing! The view itself is worth every penny. Not only is the view expansive during the day, it is spectacular at night. Loved watching the nightly fireworks show! We had rented here with the intention of trying to figure out if this is a place we could live. It is! The people living here are quite nice and the people working here work very hard. The grounds are immaculate! Also got to meet Lila's assistant, Civeth, and she is wonderful. Any question or concern was promptly answered or corrected. She is a gem! The trip didn't quite go as planned (on my end). My husband ended up not getting to go and I got there a day late and left a day early. BUT, it just gives me a reason to book it again so he can see the incredible unit and what a great place Avalon is!!

    We enjoyed our stay at the condo, although it was not the condo that was advertised. More on this later. There is a table on the balcony where we ate most of our meals. The table has some cheap chairs and while we were eating, the chair where my husband sat collapsed. My husband is not a large man, weighing less than 200 pounds and luckily, was not injured when the chair broke. Also, one day while we were out, a glass vase near the window broke on the floor. The owner withheld $140 from our security deposit for the items. We found the exact same chair and vase on Amazon and sent the owner a link. The chair was $29 and she charged us $100 USD; the vase was $22 and she charged us $40. The price to ship the items to Mexico was prohibitive, so we asked for a receipt for the replacement cost for buying the items there. The owner did not respond for weeks. When she finally responded, she promised to send the receipt, but never did. We offered to work with her to find a reasonable solution, but instead, she ignored us and did not respond to our emails, claiming that she had problems with her server. We were willing to compensate her for the broken items, but we think it is unreasonable for her to charge an arbitrary amount and to make a profit off our misfortune. We are an older couple and we treated the condo with respect. When I was looking for a vacation rental on VRBO, I saw that there was another bad review for this condo, but she had tried to delete that listing with the bad review and created this listing instead. On to the other issues... the condo was beautiful and the complex is nice and quiet. But we told we were renting on the 10th floor; instead we were given a condo on the 8th floor. The condo pictured had chairs and a coffee table in the living room and we just had a couch, no coffee table or chairs. The condo is listed as having 3 full bathrooms, but has only 2.5 baths. It lists 3 bedrooms, but instead as a plastic mattress on the floor of the living room with sliding doors that you can close off for part of the living room. I would not call it a bedroom. The kitchen is huge, but poorly equipped for cooking. The pool has a heater, but you have to call for the maintenance man to turn it on and then there is a stop so you can only turn up the heat to a certain points; it does not get warm enough to go in. It was basically unusable when we were there in January. There was no Nespresso coffeemaker and very little bottled water provided.
