I can’t say enough great things about this condo! The resort itself is wonderful, and the condo exceeded our expectations. It was spotless, beautifully maintained, and stocked with high-quality furnishings, kitchen items, and amenities. The owners have clearly thought through all the little details that make a stay comfortable, convenient, and relaxing. From the moment we arrived, everything felt easy and welcoming. We had an amazing vacation and will absolutely be back!

Condo was as advertised. Very clean & has everything you will need. Great communication begore & throughout the stay. We've stayed at Portofino 3 times, & this was the best condo we have rented.

The condo is absolutely beautiful - they really have thought of everything you could need and want to make the stay amazing. From coffee pods to plastic bags to spices to toiletries, they really have a very well stocked condo. The views are beautiful and we were able to see manatees and dolphins on the bay side. The beds were comfortable and there was a lot of beach stuff for us to use. It was a great stay! The staff we encountered were professional and friendly and made the stay even more enjoyable. It was a very relaxing trip.The one thing I will add that travelers should know is the additional charges you pay directly to the resort - a check in fee and a daily amenity fee, to which tax is added. Several amenities are not included in the daily fee, and you can pay for them a la carte or buy a package that covers a variety of amenities (these are listed on the Portofino site).

This was our 4th time vacationing at the Portofino complex through VRBO, different towers, different condos and this one was our favorite by far, everything was perfect.

This was our first stay here over spring break, and it absolutely exceeded our expectations. Mary was a fantastic host—communicative, thoughtful, and provided great recommendations for things to do, places to eat, and how to make the most of the area.The condo itself is exactly as described, if not better. It’s beautifully decorated, spotless, and incredibly well-stocked. You can tell a lot of care has gone into making sure guests have everything they need—from coffee and creamers to cookware, beach gear, and even games for downtime. We didn’t find ourselves needing anything.The highlight for us was the balcony view—it’s truly breathtaking. Pictures don’t do it justice. Starting the day with coffee overlooking the water (especially before the kids were up) was one of our favorite parts of the trip.The location is ideal—close enough to Pensacola Beach for easy access to restaurants and activities, but just far enough away to feel peaceful and relaxing. The resort itself has plenty to do, and the staff we interacted with were all friendly and helpful. Check-in was seamless and easy.Overall, this was one of those rare places that gets everything right. We’d absolutely stay here again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, well-appointed beach getaway.

Mary was a fantastic host! The condo was just as described and even better. The view from the balcony is amazing. They have thought of every little thing you need on vacation; from coffee pods, creamers, pots/pans, games… it’s all there! We will definitely be back to stay!

We had a fantastic vacation at Portofino Resort! The condo was spacious, clean, and beautifully furnished, with breathtaking views of the Gulf and the Sound.

This was our second stay here, and it was just as amazing as the first. The condo is stunning, and comes with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Make sure to check the closet for lots of beach gear! But our favorite part is the view; pictures just don’t do it justice, it’s breathtaking!Check in is super easy, the staff is friendly and helpful, there’s endless things to do at the resort. And Mary gives lots of great welcome info as far as food and entertainment. Thanks for another great vacation, we can’t recommend the place enough!

I’ve rented condos from Gulf Shores to Mexico Beach for 20 years and this was, by far, the best equipped condo I’ve had the fortune to stay in. Plenty of pots/pans(and not just some cheap garbage), assorted spices, coffee and tea, pool/beach stuff, etc. it actually felt like home versus just another rental. The ottoman fold out bed was an excellent idea. Outdoor furniture was great. All of the furnishings were similar in quality to what I would choose personally. Fantastic unit made for a fantastic family vacation!

Mary is the absolute best. The condo has EVERYTHING and I mean everything, super kid friendly, and the resort is just beautiful. Kids did sound and beach side- both easy access, and close to everything in town. Loved it and can’t wait to go back!!!

We loved this condo and that it was a bit up the road from the busy Pensacola area, but close enough to be convenient. All the decor and touches in the condo were amazing!! It was stocked with so much we didn’t expect. The view from the balcony was beautiful one of my favorite things on vacation is to get up and watch the sunrise before the kids are up and it was absolutely perfect for that. The pool and restaurants on site were also great to have when we didn’t want to go out. We would recommend this one!!

Condo is very comfortable and luxurious. Even though it looks beautiful and high end it’s also very family friendly. Lots of things to play with. Lots of beach things to borrow if needed. The kids bedroom was mermaid themed and our daughter loved that. The only complaint that we had is that it’s quite far down from where the restaurants are. It’s pretty secluded from everything. Which makes it very quiet which is nice but going anywhere is kind of a haul. There’s a starbucks within the resort that’s really easy to walk to. Overall really great. We really liked it

After Dune Delight was the perfect place to celebrate my 50th birthday. The condo was spacious, clean, quiet, beautifully decorated, well appointed and the host promptly responded to questions. I made it a daily routine to relax on the patio overlooking the spectacular views of Santa Rosa Sound. I’ll definitely book here again. Thank you!

We had a wonderful time here. The condo is exactly as described, so beautiful inside and out. The location is perfect, especially the view of both the ocean and the sound. We mostly stayed in and cooked, but we did go down to the restaurant/bar area, and it was lovely. The workout area is exceptional as well. I would highly recommend this place and will definitely be back!

We greatly enjoyed our stay here! The views are fantastic from the condo! We loved the miles and miles of low key beautiful beaches. The condo was very clean and well-stocked. Mary, the property manager was very informative, prompt with responses and attentive to details. We enjoyed the on property gym. We will return!!

Another lovely stay for fall break! We absolutely love this beautiful condo with the amazing sunrise every morning! Mary is such a wonderful host. Highly recommended and we will be back next year!

This property was great for a lot of reasons. The tennis pro, Arthur, might have been the highlight of the entire week. He is amazing with both adults and children alike and instilled a love of tennis in our 11 year old in as little as a couple of days. He also went of his way to be sure the whole family had what we needed to have an evening game together. Although you are not technically overlooking the beach from this unit, you can see plenty of the ocean beach and the beach of the sound on both sides with a beautiful view. You also have a view of the tennis courts from this unit. You cannot see the pool. The walk to the beach is less than 200 yards and the apartment is stocked with a lot of great beach gear including chairs (with backpack straps), a giant beach tote, large beach towels, and boogie boards. There are no lifeguards on this beach, but the flags are easily visible so one knows what to expect. Check in/out is at a building in front of the four towers. Each tower has it's own small pool. The main pools and community center with spa, shop, and concierge is right next to this tower, so maybe a 30-50 yard walk. Ask about wheelchair accessibility if needed. I would guess they have it, but we encountered a lot of stairs on our way to the elevators and around the complex. You do need to cross a street to get to the beach. There is a well marked cross walk at the complex and we felt comfortable allowing our older children to cross unassisted.
