Affordable, Beautiful Condo in Gated, Family-friendly Beachfront Complex

My family of 4 stayed for 5 days and it was wonderful. A quick walk to the beach whenever we wanted, followed by a heated pool and huge hot tubs. We were looking for a beachy spring break and we got it! Condo had everything we could need.

The only two things good about this property were how clean it was and how close to the beach it was. Otherwise I would rate it one star. To start, the walls are paper thin so if you are unlucky enough to get a noisy neighbor as we were, you can hear their every movement. The AC is not original so the installation that was added is extremely noisy and we could not have it on at night. While I don't mind outdated furnishings, these were both outdated, cheap and uncomfortable. Not one surface that you sit or sleep on was comfortable. The armchair has a broken spring so it was unusable. The couch was bad and the dining table chairs were barely tolerable. The mattress in the bedroom was rock hard and the mattress for the fold out couch was as noisy as it was uncomfortable. If you just need a place to crash and you're going to spend most of your time elsewhere and at the beach, this may be worth your while but otherwise this place is not worth it.

It’s a beautiful condo. We loved it !It was near the beach and the pier. The sink by the bathroom was clogged. we had noticed when we would brush our teeth.

Our family was comfortable and happy throughout our Oceanside stay. We enjoyed the very well cared for property, pool, hot tub, common areas, and especially loved our walks to the pier. We hope to be back soon!

We are staying here for the second time and are very happy with it. Many folks complain about train sound, but we hardly had any issues with it. Would be staying again in future.

Great location, clean and safe complex.

This was an incredible property at a fantastic value. The grounds are gorgeous and feel like a Hawaiian resort. We walked to the beach with the kids each morning before heading to Legoland. We played Foosball, billiards, swam in the pool, and relaxed in the jacuzzi. The condo was clean, comfy, and had everything we expected. TV was ready with streaming services. Cooking and making coffee was no problem. Highly recommend!

This is an amazing rental property that is super close to the water and has an tropical vibe for the entire facility. I loved staying there and would do so again

Property is awesome. Pools and amenities are top notch. Hot tub is wonderful. The condo was not. Pictures have a pull out couch and that is not the case when you arrive. Two single bed couches that no one can really sit or sleep on. Furniture overall in living room is unusable. Disappointing. We actually had it booked for Memorial Day weekend and cancelled because of this. Would stay at property again but not this condo.

The property and location was very nice and beautiful. We have visited this complex several times because my parents go there every year so we were comfortable with the complex itself. The unit we rented was overall nice but it was the furniture and items in the unit that were very disappointing. The pictures show a regular couch but this is not accurate. They have two folding beds/couches that you sit on. They are terribly uncomfortable. I would not recommend anyone with mobility issues to rent this place. In addition the bedding, towels and chair cushions are old and well used. Stains on the chair cushions and couch and it was hard to know if things were cleaned because of the condition. I would not rent this unit in the future but would rent at the property itself.

We had a great time!!! Right next to the beach!!

We are 2 seniors traveling with our 18 yr old grandson. This property was perfect for all of our activities. The beach access was great and we had all the appropriate toys we needed. The pool area was beautiful, as were the grounds. Our condo was cozy and very quiet. We had a great time. I would stay here again.

This condo is a great affordable stay in the Oceanside area. The beach and harbor area are super walkable and the grounds for this complex are beautiful. We loved that the unit came with soft sheets and towels. There are tons of fun beach toys and chairs provided so you don’t need to stress about bringing those bulky items.

Excellent communication with the host. The condo was safe, peaceful and better than the online photos. We will definitely return.

We love this location! The host was very accommodating of our travel plans. There were plenty of beach towels, a variety of boards, and many toys on the balcony to use at the beach and pool area. Note- this property faces the front of the complex where the train runs regularly.

We loved our stay! North Coast Village is always incredible, and our host was wonderful and super responsive. The condo was great and well stocked for cooking meals in. Everything was clean and comfortable (looked like a brand new mattress on the pull out couch). We would (and plan to) absolutely stay again!

The carpet needs cleaning. It would be helpful to have small directions for the various buildings. I spend way too much time wandering around trying to find how to get places.

My husband and I spent a week at B110 and had a wonderful stay. There was a little hiccup when we first arrived but we called our host and he was right on it resolving our concerns. This is a very nice property and I would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting a home like setting by the beach. Both the condo and property are very well managed. We will definitely consider this property for future trips.

Horrible unit future references B110. Bedroom carpet was not clean. It looks to be 20 years old, no TV in the bedroom, no working fireplace in the living room, old style, Mr. coffee maker, toaster oven, which had a rusted tray which we deemed unusable. Had to go out and buy a one cup Keurig coffee maker, and our own toaster so we can make breakfast. All furniture and furnishings she extremely dated I would never ever stay in this unit again horrible stay clear of it.

Great location

The property is beautiful and in a great location. The communication with property owner was quick and he was very responsive when there was a small issue checking in. The condo is clean and has everything you need for a nice stay.

It smelled like urine, stained carpet with tears. Furniture was dirty. No soap. Only left a few towels. No washer or dryer inside unit. No AC and it got hot even though the weather was rainy. Pictures make you think you’re close to the beach but at least a block walk to get there. Patio faces road and passenger train. The area is beautiful and landscaping is amazing!! Just would have been nice to have more of an honest description.

We have stayed at NCV many times and usually for a minimum of 7 days. This was a quick 2 night trip and this unit is good for a short stay. The kitchen utensils and cookware are minimal and the pans were not usable very dirty and stained. I had communicated with the owner to ask if we could check in at 3:00 one hour earlier. He replied with a yes the morning of our check in. When we arrived at NCV there was a car in our designated spot and when we went to the unit the door was unlocked and we walked in on the house cleaner. We had to leave all our belongings with the house cleaner in the room while we went to attend the celebration of life that was at 3:30. The owner did not communicate with the house cleaner of our early arrival or any arrival. The cleaner said “oh,I didn’t know anyone was checking in today”The other misleadingly thing is where and the view of the units location. You are in the furthest building at NCL from the beach and your view is the parking lot and train tracks along Pacific street. Positive was the bed was comfortable. And nice to have a balcony even though the view wasn’t great.Again, if your here for a quick stay this unit would be fine.

We had a wonderful stay. Clean condo comfortable arrangements. The check in process was nice and easy. We loved the grounds with all the plants and water features. And having a short walk to the beach in either direction was just amazing. Would definitely stay here again!

Extremely disappointed in this property. I assumed there would be a TV in the master bedroom as there is in the 6 other properties that my kids were staying in. No dishwasher. No trash bags, etc. Broken TV, Remote, sliding glass screen. The fry pans didn't even lay flat on the flat stove top. The chairs for the beach were rusty and old. We bought our own TV at Walmart for the trip and after the owners refused any solution. We bought trash bags and paper towels to stock the place. For so little the owners could bring this up to standards, but refuse. I have been to the other units on the property 5 times and always very happy. This time I hated were I was staying. Shame on you for not disclosing what people assume is included but is not included in your property. We will never be back with you.

Unit was amazing and just what we were hoping for. Great location, quiet atmosphere, beautiful property. Housekeeping could have been better. Unit needed a deep clean, carpets and floor grout were both dirty and some mildew build up in corner of shower door. Nothing that ruined our stay but just needed some attention. Otherwise we had a great time and will definitely do it again

We loved staying at North Coast Village! The room was clean and the A/C in the bedroom was very nice! The view off the balcony was a bit misleading, as the curtains were closed in the picture, and we imagined it was looking out to the ocean, instead it is overlooking the parking lot. There was a section of the amenities that said there were two tv’s (one in the bedroom and the other in the living room). There was just one in the living room. We loved all the beach equipment available to use. Thank you! :)

Nice complex, but the unit we were in was in the very back with the metro across the street and road to beach dir behind us. Unit was not clean..filthy carpets, mildew in shower. Unit not up to vrbo standards.

Beautiful grounds and complex, easy access to the beach and walking distance to eat and shop

This was a mother - daughter beach trip. The place was absolutely perfect. I loved the gated community and the proximity to the beach, pier, harbor and shops. The place was spacious and comfortable. We had plenty of room/ storage for our things so we could really make it like home. I loved having coffee on the balcony in the morning. The pool, jacuzzi and gym are awesome amenities. Having an assigned spot in the parking garage really took the stress out of finding a parking spot. This place is really good for families: the host has really thought of everything you might need for the beach (chairs, boogie boards, umbrella, toys for the sand, and beach towels). There is a regular coffee pot and two frosting mugs in the freezer for beverages. There are also kid friendly dishes and a pack and play and more. Some others complained about the noise from the train , but it wasn’t issue for us. We definitely enjoyed our stay.

Love the vegetation on the property and the walking distance to the beach, downtown. Ocesnside pier and Marina.

This property is very nice. Quiet. Clean. Close to the beach. We had a great time and hope to return someday!

It was good. We could of used more bath towels. The bath mats were still wet when we got there. The living room pull out sofa mattress really should be replaced. It was very uncomfortable. Very nice location. Check in was very easy and security was friendly and very helpful. The condo grounds are kept very clean.

Everything was good. The complex and location is great. There was a lot of construction going on and combined with our unit facing the parking lot and street and the railroad tracks meant there was a lot of noise.

My family and I loved the grounds, pool, hot tub, easy access to beach and ocean - and our suite was very nice, spacious, and had little extras we appreciated.

The location as fantastic. B110 is well decorated and equipped with every thing you need. The place was nice and clean. The people are very friendly (neighbors and staff) are very nice. Our favorite activity is walking along the beach and enjoying the beautiful blue sky. Our favorite restaurant is the Crab Shack. The weather is a bit cool (70 in the afternoon cooling down at night) but is perfect for us. We will stay here again assuming everything gets worked out between Canada and the US.Thanks for sharing your place with us.Diane and Geoff

Nice condo. Clean. Had everything we need. We have stayed at this place before. We like it.

Communication was poor, sent a note to the owner 3 days before our stay and never received a reply. Called the owner the day of our arrival and received a text 4 days later.Unit was surface clean but really needs a deep clean, my wife likes to completely unpack and use the dressers etc. but refused as the inside of the drawers and cupboards were dirty. Carpet is stained unit had a mildew smell to it.Dishes looked like they were from a thrift store, nothing matched and there was only one wine glass. We took the dishes we planned on using and washed them all and then left on the counter for the week as the cupboards were all dirty.TV remote is completely worn out, the rubber cover over the buttons has actual holes through it and we had to use the back end of a pen to push the buttons.Unit is noisy, it over looks the parking lot, then a fairly busy road, then railroad track, then freeway.The overall location and resort is fantastic, very clean, awesome pool and hot-tub, awesome grill area, awesome fitness center, awesome access to the beach and close to great restaurants.I would definitely stay at this resort again but would pick a different unit. There are lots to chose fromThis unit was one of the lower priced ones but I guess you get what you pay for, Will not make the same mistake again. This unit needs a deep clean and some TLC.

Apartment was very clean and well equipped. The only down side was we were across from the train tracks. Lots of trains passed through at night. Highly recommend bringing ear plugs!

The complex is very nice. Our unit was nicely decorated and clean.

Both train and car noise. Kitchen and bath weren't stocked well. Bed was hard and had no top sheet. Definitely won't return to this unit.

This condo is located in the best family friendly facility in Oceanside! North Coast Village is a wonderful spot right by the beach and with a great pool. The condo has a pullout perfect for kids and a good sized living room. Troy was very responsive and helpful during our stay. Great price for a great family get away!

we had a good time once we figured out check in/out procedures. Parking was something to get use to at first. we will come back again which will make things easier from now on. Thanks again.

Great place

The place was not really cleaned well in-between stays. I saw we could call them back but chose not too. You need to bring your own Kleenex, condiments (salt shaker was empty) soap for shower. The kitchen needs to be refurnished with new knives..(they were pretty dull) some glass wine glasses (there is one plastic one) I think the owner would benefit from staying there and checking it all out. But having a good bed and shower are always top on our list. (pillows in closet were the best).
