Adventure awaits, relaxing begins! Tropical dreams come true in my Fairway Villa

My Fairway villa is a luxury dream vacation come true. Surrounded by world-class golf courses it is a golfers delight. Beautiful beaches are a short walk or drive away. Beach chairs and towels are all waiting for you. All you need to bring is your bathing suit. If you choose to sit on the lanai and enjoy a book or watch the golfers it is a peaceful, private setting.

Please be aware the Waikoloa Beach Resort is not within Waikoloa Village. Waikoloa Village is about 7 miles inland.>
The condo is on the second floor of H’ building – with an elevator near by. It’s near the end of the complex with less traffic but far enough away to not hear laughing and splashing at the pool. It’s a quick walk to the pool and hot tub area, with the BBQ grills and exercise area nearby in the same garden section.

The Fairway Villas are located within the Waikoloa Beach Resort near the Marriott and Hilton resort - just a 19-mile drive north of the Kailua-Kona Airport. This Kohala Coast resort is blessed with 352+ days a year of sunny weather. The Kings Shops and the Queens Marketplace are a very short walk from the condo. They are filled with specialty shops, eating places, and small markets to pick up grocery items. (For your basic groceries I suggest stopping at Costco just south of the airport).

A short walk from the Villas is Anaehoomalu Bay (‘A Bay’) past the Hawaiian Fish ponds. You’ll view gorgeous sunsets here – a photographer’s dream. The nearby Hilton has the Dolphin Quest where you can get up close and personal with the dolphins, (make reservations early). They also have a large complex with boats or trains to take you to casual or fine dining, or just to walk through their Asian art display.

My villa overlooks the 14th green and the 15th tee of the Beach Course. The flat screened TVs and free Wi-Fi will meet your needs when you’re not at the beach. The well-supplied kitchen has granite countertops, upgraded luxury small appliances some spices and everything to make your vacation a pleasure. The central air conditioning and washer and dryer add comfort to your stay. The bedding is cool and inviting. There are plenty of towels for the villa and the beach. You’ll feel pampered with the amenities. The lanai faces no other making you think you are in your own special paradise!

The swimming pool and hot tub area are well maintained and set among lovely tropical flowering plants. The infinity edge pool overlooks the golf course and lake toward the Kings Shops.

The exercise area is set among the gardens with seldom-needed glass enclosures. It is a five-piece gym, which contains state-of–the art equipment - a new elliptical, treadmill, rowing machine, stationary bike and universal machine with 3 different modes.

Located within a lush garden setting the BBQ area has several grills. Throw on a simple shrimp or a tasty steak! Even a grill master can appreciate this area. It’s large enough for a family or group gathering.

I fell in love with the Villas and the Big Island after spending a vacation there with my daughter and her family. We loved exploring its diversity – rain forest and waterfalls, lava fields, active volcanoes, the world renowned Keck Observatory, gorgeous white sand beaches and sunny Kohala coast, and more!
