Two bedroom and Loft that sleeps up to 8 people. Master bedroom with king bed and en-suite bathroom, 2nd bedroom with two queen beds. There is a second bathroom beside the second bedroom. The loft has two twin beds and there is a Queen sofa bed in the living room. 2 private balconies. Floor to ceiling windows 24 ft. vaulted ceilings in living area Mountain views. ABOUT GREYSTONE LODGE

Greystone Lodge is located at the base of Blackcomb Mountain next to the NEW 10 Person Blackcomb Gondola and Magic Chair lifts. A boutique style condo complex with only 50 units makes Greystone Lodge one of the smaller vacation rental locations in the Benchlands neighbourhood in Whistler. The forty foot windows of the lofted units gives Greystone Lodge its stunning appearance for passers by and great mountain views for guests that occupy them.

GREYSTONE LODGE AMENITIES

For relaxation and convenience guests of Greystone Lodge will find an updated outdoor heated pool and NEW large hot tub along with an indoor hot tub, showers, and common area washrooms. There are two outdoor BBQ's near the pool deck for guest use. There is a coin operated laundry facility in the building as well as a vending machine for quick snacks. There are two shared BBQ's near the pool deck for guest use. Unique to Greystone Lodge is free underground parking, something hard to come by in Whistler. Guests should be warned that the underground parking has a total height limit of 6 feet 8 inches. Large SUV’s with ski racks may not fit in the underground and there is very limited over-height parking at the lodge.

LOCAL AMENITIES

Within a very short walking distance guests will find ski school, ski and snowboard rentals, bike rentals, restaurants, a liquor store, a small grocery store and various retail outlets. The walk to the main Whistler Village will take around 7-10 minutes on foot, however, a village transit bus comes every 7 minutes in the Winter and every 15 minutes during the other months. The bus stop is just a short stroll from the lobby.

OTHER ACTIVITIES

Golfers can enjoy the Chateau Whistler Golf Course, one of the finest golf courses in British Columbia, just a short walk from the lodge. Lost Lake Park is located only minutes from the Greystone Lodge where guests will find great hiking, picnicking, swimming and fishing in the summer months and Nordic ski trails in the winter. The base of Blackcomb turns into a children’s paradise in the summer when it is converted into a giant playground hosting horseback riding, a climbing wall, various rides and amusements, mini-golf, and more. In addition, on summer weekends visitors can frequent the Whistler Farmer’s Market finding locally made crafts and foods also located at the base of Blackcomb Mountain.

    Very nice condo, true ski in and ski out from the Blackcomb gondola. Easy walk to the shops and restaurants of the Whistler Upper Village.

    This was a comfortable stay and easy in and out. Everything you need is at hand and there is plenty of space for a family with teenagers. Nothing fancy, but very convenient for some great skiing.

    We’ve been to Whistler several times, but this was the first time we’ve stayed in the Upper Village. This property was a quick 5 minute walk to restaurants and shops, and we loved the ski in/ski out accessibility. The unit was clean and well appointed….perfect for our group of 7

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our recent stay in Greystone Loge Unit 317 was wonderful. The location is a big part of what we liked as it was close to the Blackcomb gondola and provided easy easy to the village and many restaurants but was in a quiet setting. The unit was very accurately portrayed in the pictures and the description was also very accurate. There were no suprises other than the boardgames games which we did enjoy playing. It was very clean and comfortable and everything was in good condition. Having robes was a nice touch! For us, the kitchen was a little small though we ate most of our meals out; it did have all the supplies we needed for our purposes. We appreciated having the binder of area attractions and directions for things. This was our first visit to Whistler and it was INCREDIBLE! Although we are avid skiers, we were here in the summer and definitely want come back. In fact, Whistler is a place I could live. Biking, hiking, kayaking, and beauty everywhere you look. This unit is in a good location for skiing too about 100 yards or so from a slope making it ski-in/ski-out but no views of the slopes from this unit. I would definitely consider staying at this location again.

Perfect ski-in / ski-out. The kitchen was new and everything about the condo was perfect. Our only complaint was waiting for the elevator (the location of this condo made stairs arduous) and the hot tub was usually crowded. But we loved it and had a great time!

Very clean. The kitchen was well stocked. Ran out of hot water pretty quickly in the master bedroom. It was actually 90 degrees the week we were there. Air conditioning worked great and grateful for it. Thank you to the owners.The building itself wasn't in great condition. Work was being done right outside my door in the hallway for much of the week, which was very loud and blocked the hallway and sometimes my door.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The apartment is very nice and cozy and had everything we needed. It has 4 twin beds (and we have 4 children so that was perfect). The loft however is not for little kids as it is open and could be dangerous for little kids. The main room has a very nice and big king size bed. The high ceiling is a plus. The building itself is nothing special and the pool area is pretty small. The unit is really nice.
