ABOUT GREYSTONE LODGE

Greystone Lodge is located at the base of Blackcomb Mountain next to the NEW 10 Person Blackcomb Gondola and Magic Chair lifts. A boutique style condo complex with only 50 units makes Greystone Lodge one of the smaller vacation rental locations in the Benchlands neighbourhood in Whistler. The forty foot windows of the lofted units gives Greystone Lodge its stunning appearance for passers by and great mountain views for guests that occupy them.

GREYSTONE LODGE AMENITIES

For relaxation and convenience guests of Greystone Lodge will find an outdoor heated pool and hot tub along with an indoor hot tub, showers, and common area washrooms. There is a coin operated laundry facility in the building as well as a vending machine for quick snacks. There are two shared BBQ's near the pool deck for guest use. Free wireless internet is located throughout the building for those guests who need to stay connected. Unique to Greystone Lodge is free underground parking, something hard to come by in Whistler. Guests should be warned that the underground parking has a total height limit of 6 feet 8 inches. Large SUV’s with ski racks may not fit in the underground and there is very limited over-height parking at the lodge.

LOCAL AMENITIES

Within a very short walking distance guests will find ski school, ski and snowboard rentals, bike rentals, restaurants, a liquor store, a small grocery store and various retail outlets. The walk to the main Whistler Village will take around 7-10 minutes on foot, however, a village transit bus comes every 7 minutes in the Winter and every 15 minutes during the other months. The bus stop is just a short stroll from the lobby.

OTHER ACTIVITIES

Golfers can enjoy the Chateau Whistler Golf Course, one of the finest golf courses in British Columbia, just a short walk from the lodge. Spas are located throughout Whistler Resort for those looking for extra help in relaxing. Lost Lake Park is located only minutes from the Greystone Lodge where guests will find great hiking, picnicking, swimming and fishing in the summer months and Nordic ski trails in the winter. The base of Blackcomb turns into a children’s paradise in the summer when it is converted into a giant playground hosting horseback riding, a climbing wall, various rides and amusements, mini-golf, and more. In addition, on summer weekends visitors can frequent the Whistler Farmer’s Market finding locally made crafts and foods also located at the base of Blackcomb Mountain.

    Perfect Location. We stayed at Greywood Lodge before and knew that we wanted to be in that exact same location. This unit was very clean. I would never rent without my own washer and dryer and they were in great working condition! Will absolutely rent again!

    This was the perfect place for our stay. You can't beat the location, such a short walk to the village, convenient ski in ski out access and we loved the hot tub amenities. Having 2 bathrooms was also a really nice perk.

    The unit was a great size for 2 families with 4 young children. Liked that the bedrooms were on opposite ends of the unit, and each had its own bathroom. Central location, just a short drive to the village. The only complaint we had was that the floors were very dirty. Other than that we had a great stay!

    If you love Blackcomb and the Upper Village area, this is the best ski in-ski out location without being right on the ski run (noisy, bright lights) Great hot tub, pool and easy in and out of your stuff from the car to the ground floor through the second garage. The unit was very well stocked with all the necessary and some surprising additions (slow cooker) to make your food prep easy. Great Smart TV set up with Netflix, Amazon Prime, Samsung TV, and other things I've never heard of.... we'll be back to stay here again. Thanks...

    Along with my partner and a close friend, we headed to Whistler for a few days of fun. The accommodations were perfect! The unit had everything needed and was only a quick walk to the Village. Highly recommended.

    This condo in the Upper Village was wonderful. Very clean, well maintained, and lovely furnishings. Updated decor with a tv in each bedroom and one in the living area. Downstairs unit so no stairs to climb. They even have two coffee pots. One for Keurig pods and one for ground coffee. One of the best kitchens with current appliances and lots of cookware and dishes. We walked to the main village almost everyday and it is a short 10 to 15 minute walk. Although the Upper village has some nice shops and restaurants as well. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks for a great stay!!!

    Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Probably great for a ski trip as it's off the lower third of the slope. But not for more than 4 people as it is small....we had to put both suitcases on the seat in the entry way because the bedroom had NO space around the King bed to put them without stepping IN to them to walk around. The closet in that bedroom had ample space for hanging clothes but we were there only 3 days in a 10 day trip and didn't want to completely empty our suitcases. We had to hang our shower towels to dry using the hooks in the entry way above where we placed our suitcases. The hall bathroom at the entry has one small towel bar and one hook next to the small shower. There is not one hook or ledge in the shower to hang anything. So, your soap, etc. go on the floor of the shower. The King bed in that bedroom was comfy. The window AC unit located in the living room between the 2 bedrooms exhausted on to the patio of this we couldn't open the patio door without getting more hot air. That's probably why they don't have any patio furniture out there! The unit faces the west side and gets very warm so we had to keep the shades down most of the afternoon. The Master on the other side of the unit had 2 comfy queen beds, had a separate toilet room, closet and shower room. That patio was cool at night so they could open their door at night to cool down. The bathroom was the same as the other though. Only one hook and one towel bar. Nothing in the shower itself. We kept the one standing fan in the unit angled from the living room to the first bedroom to push some cool air in there. The AC did a great job cooling the LR and the 2nd bedroom, though. It was great to have a washer/dryer in the unit!

Very comfortable and spacious for a family of 4. The property was clean and well stocked with everything you need for self catering. Washing machine and a dryer was a great bonus. We had a very pleasant stay at this place and would definitely come back.
