A SLICE OF HEAVEN WITH A GARDEN VIEW

The condo was spacious and clean. The grounds around the complex are beautiful and well maintained. Beach is very close. The condo is right along a busy street with a train going by frequently, so it was a bit loud. The bed was uncomfortable but the rest of the place was nice and comfortable.

Easy access to beach, Harbour restaurants, walkable to town. Nice garden area for morning coffee!

The complex (North Coast Village) is great - very much feels like a resort. While this unit is a garden-view near the back of the property, it's still a very easy walk to the beach. Oceanside is reasonably compact, and it's only about a 20 minute walk to either the pier or downtown. Fit and finish in the unit are excellent - we particularly appreciated the very comfortable beach chairs and excellent shower. Check-in, check-out and parking were a breeze. Unit could use a bit better selection of glassware and cutting boards, but that's a minor complaint. Upstairs neighbor foot traffic can be disturbing if you're trying to sleep late. Since the complex is literally right on the ocean, the units do not come standard with A/C. But this unit has several excellent fans and a locking screen door on the front, which provides excellent breeze throughout. It is also on the ground floor, so does not heat up appreciably during the day. Complex is fenced/gated and felt very safe. Would definitely stay again.

North Coast Village has an excellent location on beach and beautifully landscaped grounds with nice pool and amenities. It is very large with many buildings and units and we got lost repeatedly trying to find our way. This unit is nicely decorated with a large living room. It is the farthest from the beach and across the street from the train which comes through a lot but really didn’t bother us too much. It has a nice patio with chairs and table. The main thing we didn’t like was no air conditioning. It was quite hot. There is a stand alone unit in bedroom which is very noisy and can’t be moved so rest of unit is very hot and stuffy. There are some fans which helped a tiny bit. Also BEWARE: they do not provide any soap or shampoo in shower. This is first time in lots of world travels I had to go buy a bar of soap. Kitchen doesn’t have anything except some salt and pepper and a little coffee.

We enjoyed our stay here. Close walk to the beach and to the marina.

We really enjoyed the saltwater swimming pool, the Koi fish pond, the esthetics of the flowers and walking paths, and proximity to the beach. The property was family friendly and our kids felt at home at the condo.

Our unit was clean, comfortable and secure. We had an issue, but the owner contacted and resolved it quickly (from overseas).

I was very happy with this property and ease of checking in. The landscaping, pool, spa and other amenities were amazing including the beach access which was maybe 50 yards away. The harbor was a short 5 minute walk with many restaurants. The condo was very clean and stocked with all the items necessary for my stay including beach towels, boogie boards a beach chairs. The pictures represent the property perfectly. Being a single person, I felt very safe as the property has patrol service and is fenced with remote access including the garage. I will definitely be returning to this property on my next visit to Oceanside,

Lean and comfortable

A Slice of Heaven was very nice and clean. basic essentials were there (Paper, spices in Kitchen, and some cleaning supplies) beautiful garden surrounding the property and the patio was wonderful for having my morning coffee. easy check in. the harbor and beach was really close.

We love staying at NCV and this unit had all the amenities we needed for our beach getaway. Easy walking distance to the harbor and to the pier. The unit was well stocked and the host was readily available with information but not intrusive at all. We had a great time!

Brad (owner)was attentive, and checked in a couple times to insure our comfort. The condo was spacious and very comfy from all chairs, sofa and king bed! Kitchen well stocked and everything was so clean! We loved the outdoor patio (huge) with beautiful tropical environment. Thanks Brad for letting us stay at your gorgeous place.

Place was just ok. Older unit with some updates, just not the important ones like bedroom and bathroom. Bed was old and lumpy. Linens were outdated and looked like they had been used hundreds of times. Bed wasn't even made correctly. Shower was dirty and well used. No A/C and no ceiling fans just tower fans that did ok. Couldn't keep the window open because of the coaster commuter trains across the street. This unit is the far from the beach The complex is nice and well keep. Nice pool area.

Property was larger than many other North Coast Village units; loved the renovated backyard. The unit fulfilled our needs and would stay again. Only suggestions would be to update the bedroom bedding, the bedspread is very old and worn; the kitchen faucet handle comes off easily and needs to be tightened.

Nice place with a great backyard area that was great for bbq. The facility is also great with pool, gym etc.

The condo was muggy when we got there so I opened all windows and they had 3 tower fans so I turned one on in the living room as there is no AC. The place was cooled off by the time we went to bed but with the windows open the neighbors were loud so I would suggest ear plugs if you go to bed before 11:00. All in all the place was nice and the parking garage was nice

My husband and I decided to go visit family and found this wonderful place available. It was within walking distance of restaurants and the beach/pier/marina. We really enjoyed the our time there, even though the patio was being worked on and was unavailable for use. Brad was very responsive and helpful.

Beautiful location and wonderful proximity to the water and the pier. Enjoyed all of the amenities that the property has to offer and felt very safe and secure while there. The unit itself is very basic, but I do that going into the weekend with my family, could probably use an upgrade hut the price reflected the unit and was represented well by the pictures.

Host was very helpful and easy to get a hold of. Kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. Very roomy and comfortable.

My family had a nice stay and really enjoyed our vacation.
