My family of 4 had a great time. my husband and I were able to work some days and the kids still had a great time.
When we first arrived, as we were walking through the front door, we noticed that the front door frame was cracked, which was causing issues with the door lock. While leaving the condo, it took us several times to actual lock the door. On the third day, I was unable to leave the condo because the door would not lock. I called the office and they sent someone over after a few hours. The workman examined the door and removed a piece of the door bracket which enabled the door to lock. He asked if I would be available for him to come back to replace the door frame, I agreed. He never returned so my husband slept in the room with my Son just in case there was a break-in. I have pictures of the cracked door frame. As we were leaving the condo, we packed our sheets and towels into the canvas bag. As I was pulling off the sheets I noticed bugs crawling around on the mattress. I killed several of them. I noticed throughout the week that I was getting bites along my back, arms, chest and legs. When I got home, I unpacked my clothing and small bugs had infested my clothing and $300.00 suitcase, which is now in the trash. I also have pictures of the bugs that were on the unit mattress and the ones I killed that crawled out of my suitcase. The property managers stated they sent pest control and there were no bed bugs but something was biting me. The leg of the couch was broken and the couch was jammed up against the wall so it would stay upright, until you sat on it. The outdoor table had broken tile (not such a big deal) and initially the Internet router was unplugged unbeknownst to us so we went two days without Internet. The pool pass did not work and my Husband had to lift our Son over the wall so he could let us into the pool area. I sent the property managers( Rentals At The Beach) my first email on August 25, 2020. Weeks, then months passed with no resolution until this last week when they offered me 5% discount to rebook with them. Yesterday I heard from Griffin Harlow who stated I am trying to hurt small businesses. I have pictures to back up ALL my claims. Will never use this property or Rentals on the Beach again.
