It was ski-in/ski-out. But that's the only thing it had going for it. - The whole place stank when we arrived. Took a bit of work to make it smell fine. - The pantry was practically empty. Not so much as essentials, had to immediately go to the store to get everything. There was a bottle of oil that was fresh perhaps 10 years ago. - We've stayed at places with lofts and ladders, but this ladder situation felt especially rickety and unsafe. - No place to store our skis. There were ski lockers, but they were locked and we were not allowed to use them. We were just 4, but the place allegedly sleeps 6. I can't imagine how that corridor would look with 6 pairs of ski equipment in it. - Communication was less than stellar. Like checkin details sent 2pm on the day of checkin. Good luck if you're having cell issues that day. Definitely not renting again.

Description said we'd get arrival info 3 days before and that check in time was 3pm. The info didn't come at 3 days, and we learned 24 hours before when we got the check in info that the check in time changed to 4pm. It as difficult to get past the chatbots to establish this. When we arrived check in was easy. The location was great, but the place was run down with threadbare towels, dirty kitchen (dried parsley on the kitchen wall, sticky built in cutting board, and bathroom vent caked with old dust. I didn't look in the other vents, but the place was dusty. We couldn't find the pool, but when we texted the host, they said it was a 20 minute drive away. Also, though the kitchen had dishes and pots and pans aplenty, there was no oil or any staples, be sure to bring every ingredient you need.

The room was exactly as described. Very comfortable for us. Since it was off-season, there were very few stores open in the village, so we went to town to eat and shop. We played golf at the nearby Northstar Golf Course. We were disappointed that the TV had limited access (no cable; we received a note from the owners saying the cable was not working, and we were limited to three streaming apps). We were looking forward to streaming the football game we wanted to watch, but the setup didn't allow it.

Great location! Right next to the gondolas! It was everything we needed for the price it was. We loved staying in the village. The ladder to the loft is good for older children only. We will definitely be staying here again next summer!

Location, location, location! Right on the slopes, yards away from the gondola. Basic ski condo. Be sure you are aware that the loft is accessed by a straight up ladder. One of my kids opted to sleep on the couch downstairs rather than climb the ladder.

The location is the best part about this condo. It’s the closest building on Ski View to the Big Springs gondola and right next to village run so a true ski in and ski out. There’s an easy path to walk down to the restaurants in the village. About the condo amenities: it’s an older, not renovated unit, so it’s what you’d expect - functional. All the appliances work. The dishwasher is loud. The shower water pressure is good. The kitchen pots and pans are pretty good (except the nonstick pan needs to be replaced IMO), but bring your own oil, salt, pepper etc if you plan to cook. The upstairs loft is quite spacious. It is a very tall ladder to get up there, so kids younger than 5 would need to be supervised climbing up and down. There were 3 sleds and 2 inner tubes - awesome for the kids to enjoy on the small slope right outside the condo. Things that would’ve made this rental even better: Because the washer/dryer is not inside the unit, it would be nice to have a laundry basket to use to take your clothes to the laundry room. Dressers in both rooms would be nice so we don’t have to live out of our bags if we’re there for more than a few days.

This is a great place to stay. A true ski in/ski out. This is our second time staying at the place. Fyi, there is a ladder that is going up to the loft and not stairs. If you are uncomfortable going up ladders, I would't recommend this place. The bedroom is on the floor though. Overall, this is a great place to stay at
