A Cozy Bellevue Condo at CrossRoad Mall

A nice cozy apartment that was close to all the places that we wanted to go. There is no elevator, one must use outside steps to get to the 2nd floor.

The unit manager for this rental was very nice and prompt to respond to any issues. However, this property has major safety and sanitation concerns. Both bedrooms have the beds, as well as curtains in the King bedroom, far too close to the wall heaters. This is a major fire hazard, especially since you can not completely turn the heaters off, only drop them to a minimum heat. There was already damage to the floor and a box spring from the heaters prior to our arrival. The chain to lock the entry door from inside had been nearly ripped off the wall, rendering it ineffective for security. There was leftover, open food items from previous tenants in the kitchen. Some of the food items were expired, sticky, and/or leaking. The garbage facility was often overflowing and upon my final visit, I found a dead rat.

Lack of central air conditioning was a problem. Portable AC units caused the breaker to kick off. Owners did bring long extension cord to plug in and run all the way down stairs. Also, curtains were broken, not large enough for the windows.we have vacation rentals and we would never present a place with these. Snarl of cords by TV should go.

Nicely arranged interior. Owner is responsive. Overall condo building needs painting, but that does not affect the apartment. Difficult to find in a maze of apartment buildings with unclear signs.

Property is exactly as pictured and described, and is conveniently located in northeast Bellevue directly across the street from the Crossroads Mall. Excellent communication with the host, who responded quickly to all queries. Easy check-in and check-out. Unit was clean and well stocked, with lots of toiletries in the main bathroom. There are two flights of stairs outdoors up to the unit and another flight inside up to the bedroom area, plus a short flight up from the garage to the ground level--all of which is fine for people without mobility issues or heavy luggage. King bed was very high and hard to climb into, and there was no nightstand to keep phone, glasses, etc., within reach while sleeping. I recommend that the host add a nightstand or small table next to the king bed and also provide a step stool (or lower the bed). Overall, a pleasant stay!

The location of the place was perfect as it was a 10 minute walk to our son’s apartment, shopping and entertainment. The beds were very comfortable, could have used a step stool to climb into the king size bed.
