7A Pet-friendly 2-bedroom condo on lower level at Oyster Bay Golf Links Sunset Beach

This condo is a very basic, Spartan place to stay. Nothing wrong in a large sense, just kind of gives a basic, sterile feeling. The bedsheets were what I would expect from staying at Motel 6, stiff and starchy, even noisy when moving in bed. Not soft or entirely comfortable. TP is what I’d expect at the bus station. Bar soap and shampoo provided but not of great quality. The dishwasher, we found when leaving, was full , and not run from the previous renter’s stay. We wondered why we couldn’t find a fork. While nothing huge to complain of, there just wasn’t much to make us feel all warm and fuzzy about staying there either.

We had a great time and the condo was just what we needed! I would definitely recommend.

Several things were not working when we arrived. Toilet was leaking and water shut off. Bathroom electrical not working and light burned out in kitchen. Property mgmt was quick to fix the toilet - but others were not repaired. Condo was very clean. Just dated. At last minute booking it was very acceptable.

Place was just as advertised. Had a great stay would stay again.

We loved that this location had some kid inclusions a few kid dishes, lower toilets and a big patio door to watch the alligators. A HUGE bonus was the layout! The kids were able to maintain some of their routine naps/bedtimes and has their own space. This would be perfect for a girls trip, couples trip or traveling with a mother friend and kid. Plenty of floor room for air mattresses too. Furniture was easy to arrange out of kids way- glass table in living room and the tall bar stools. The tubs are super slick though and very high edges so I’d just be extra cautious about that. The provided bed linens weren’t comfy, but there were plenty of plush blankets to make up for that! We completed the checkout list. Not a big deal but if I’m paying that type of cleaning fee— seems I wouldn’t have to do all the dishes, strip all the linens and clean the fridge out… especially with the one trash bag provided to us. Again… all low key things that didn’t in anyway take away from this stay. Would be interested in seeing if other units have different bathroom tubs. It was so slick it was uncomfortable for me as an adult.
