The communication and customer service from the owner’s and the cleanliness is what I would like to highlight the most even for a busy holiday season it was perfect.

Stayed Oct 17, 2025Location was convenient to the festival and downtown Banner Elk. We had a beautiful view of the mountains. The home was clean and had most amenities that were needed. However, we were disappointed with the lack of concern from the hosts that there was an infestation of wasps. We killed at least 30 to 40 of them during our stay. It was difficult to sleep with a fear that they might enter the bedrooms.After contacting the hosts, no solution to the problem or compensation was offered. This led us to give the location a lower rating. We would not stay here again because of this.We would also suggest that the owners add boxsprings to the beds so that they are not so low to the floor. It would also make them a little more comfortable.

Stayed Jun 28, 2025We walked to all the downtown attractions, restaurants, arcade, ice cream, summer concert in the park and were able to watch the 4th of July fireworks over Sugar Mountain off the back porch. Unit could use a little updating and the master bathroom shower was tight, but overall it met our families needs for vacation.

Stayed Feb 7, 2025The parking lot is not great if you have two cars. We had to ask for the renter from anotherr unit to move their vehicles, everyone was nice and was not a big deal. We didn't mind to move our cars.The kitchen was not very clean, glasses were very sticky, cabnets were dirty and cobwebs under neath. Need to add mixing bowls . Master bed room comforter needs to be washed. Few changes would make it more confortable.

Stayed Jan 22, 2025This was the perfect layout for our family ski trip. It is located right in now, so close to two ski resorts and a few restaurants/shopping. We were a little cold at night, but extra blankets did the trick. Hope to stay here again!

Stayed May 23, 2024Great location walking distance to downtown. We missed when booking there was only one parking space. Talked with the unit next door and was able to use their spot to get 2 cars in. Owner was responsive of our needs.
