Having the kickoff units allowed for more than enough room for the family. The indoor pool and hot tub were great and large enough that it never felt crowded. The location is very convenient to Colonial Williamsburg, Busch Gardens, restaurants, grocery and other activities.
Was not aware of the sales pitch. I had to be down rite rude to get them off my back! The a/c in the unit didn’t take the humidity down enough to be comfortable, felt balmy.
Spent a Thanksgiving Get-A- Way at Greenspring, 5 nights. The accommodations were wonderful. My only complaint is “parking”; - each building should have designated parking. A few evenings we had to walk pass at least three buildings to get to ours. Overall I was pleased with the resort.
Concierge personnel need to be retrained in customer service. Biggest issue was someone from the Concierge Dept walked into our room uninvited and unannounced to leave an advertisement for a free weekend at their resorts. My daughter was in the room alone and was frightened by someone pushing open an inside door and walking into our room. There is no reason for this to have happened and the management and concierge personnel did nothing about it as far as we are concerned-I waited a whole week to hear back from the Front desk manager when I asked him to follow up with me and a week later still no response. Place looks great but Management and customer service is awful. Ruined our weekend that we had to even deal with this issue. And to make matters worse was how it was handled.
What a great place! So clean too! Check in was easy and the distance to Busch gardens was minimal. We shall return!
Awesome experience. We will definitely use again. Only bad mark, all treadmills at gym out of service, but it appeared to be an anomaly.
We rented a two condo lock off. Both units were very clean and had everything we needed in the kitchen for a basic meal. We took our Girl Scout Troop to Bush Gardens for the weekend. The pull out sofas provided more than ample space for all our girls. They even had a chance to enjoy the pool before returning home after a fun filled weekend. I’d definitely recommend for larger groups or families.
My family found too many things to do in Williamsburg to be 20 minutes away from the action. The facilities were nice, spacious, clean, and comfortable. They really adhere to the no early check-in rule even when the rooms are ready, giving us the impression they are not very customer friendly, in spite of the fact that all the people are very congenial. We would have preferred one more private queen or king bedroom instead of single beds. An elevator would have been nice. Something needs to be done to improve the locks or whoever is programming the locks. There was an outside door, door at the top of the stairs, and separate door for each of the two suites. Someone in our group got locked out every time we returned to the unit: different door each time. This was strange because half of the keys suddenly stopped working and we got a phone call from the desk asking if we were moving out before our contracted day was over. The last night, we were trying to get back in time to use the indoor pool, but all of us were locked out. Maintenance came quickly and replaced the electronic mechanism to the entry door to our two suites, but too late to use the activity center. Miniature golf closed at 7, the weather was too cool for the outdoor heated pool, and we don't play golf, and there are plenty of good restaurants in the area, so we did not use the amenities to the fullest.
We had a lovely time in a beautiful place. We couldn't have been happier!! Will def return
We had a wonderful time, plenty of room for everyone. Too bad we hit the cold spell ... next time we want to use the pool area.
