3/3 in ss resort ON beach Sleeps 8 pool TOP Floor End Unit sunsets from balcony

Community, location, view, ideal. What was unpleasant, very uncomfortable was the mold in the master bedroom and the second bedroom, the dirty kitchen stools and the worn living room set. The mold in the master bedroom's ceiling looked old, very visible above the master bed around the AC vent. The apartment needs just a little more attention, better maintenance and cleaning.

The unit could use some serious updating. Living room, couch and chairs are dirty and need to be thrown out. Beach umbrellas, and some of the chairs were unusable.Too much clutter and old cleaning supplies under bathroom sinks, and closets.Carpet needs to go.

Beautiful area! Loved Captiva. The condo was great. No problems. Everything is within walking distance.

The South Seas is a gorgeous resort that I most likely will return to. Breathtaking and well maintained sporting beautiful beaches. However, the condo we booked was subpar. It lacked the cleanliness and necessary supplies (listed as starters). A 4 night stay and we need more tp, paper towels, garbage bags and dishwasher detergent. The floor was filthy, pots and pans and cutting board needed to be rewashed before use. There was something icky running down the center hall bathroom tile. Garbage can filthy and smelled. The living room furniture was circa 1980(my girlfriend had same set in 1985) and was grayed and stained. Main bedroom comfortable. Loft was not. Balcony furniture heavily stained from mildew.While the listing promotes more than one pool and a gym do not expect to use the main attraction swim up bar bay side main poolor the water slide pool. Nor can you use the gym on premises. While the write-up mentioned a gym it is a haul away and we only had access to one pool even though she owns condos in other buildings. The condo could have been perfect with some attentiveness to detail, and some necessary refurnishes and proper care. All in all we had a great time though as we spent little time in doors.We did need to communicate with the owner and found her terse and defensive. All if this may have been acceptable if it not for the fact of a premium cost.

Everything was perfect. The location was ideal for our vacation.

Host did not forward check in code until after we contact VRBO so were two hours late getting into unit. The unit was well situated. Minor maintenance issues: toilet seats needed tightening, balcony door handle needed tightening, entry door chain lock needs re-seating. There is no washer & dryer in the unit. Public one available in the building.Overall, felt the unit could use a deep cleaning and minor repairs (see above); Otherwise, had a good visit.

Great location, wonderful beach access. Perfect for families with easy parking and a very walkable community. Host was lovely and everything was to our satisfaction.

Location was great. Loved walking the beach. The unit had old grounds in the coffee maker and the wall behind the kitchen trash container was splattered with old food and drink. The decor, specifically on the living room was '80s and worn. One of the yellow chairs smelled of urine and arm rests on both yellow chairs were filthy. The host stressed that only starter toilet paper and paper towels were provided... Not that we needed more for a 2 night/3 day stay... But felt like covid rationing. We had originally wanted to rent the second floor unit but were told no because of the length of time we were staying. So we had to pay more for the third floor unit. In the end the 2nd floor unit wasn't rented during our stay. Not sure if this is a common practice but it was not appreciated by our group. Communication from the host was terse and unfriendly. We would not rent from her again.

I’m not going to waste my time. It’s obvious from past reviews you are aware of the issues at this condo and have done nothing about it. Don’t bother me with any reviews just go away. We’re done with VRBO.

Nice property. Comfortable, unit with great view and very convenient quarters for 6 adults and a 1 year old. Place is very clean and updated. South Seas making great progress in rebuilding their property. The vibe of the place is tropical, beautifully landscaped, great layout with access to pools and easy walk to a very nice stretch of beach. Not inexpensive but worth the price.

Our stay at South Seas was wonderful. It was more than enough room for our family of 4 and we really enjoyed the views, easy access to the beach and pool close by. The kitchen was well equipped so we were able to eat several meals, the restaurant's nearby were great, too. We really appreciated that the condo had plenty of beach chairs, beach towels, umbrellas, some sand/shelling toys and I want to mention the King bed was super comfortable! At the time of our stay, the elevator was not working but we made it work and that was communicated on the listing so it wasn't a surprise. Overall, we felt right at home and enjoyed our stay as a family.
