Stayed Oct 6, 2025Horrible horribe horrible. My dog got sick from a leaking room ac unit. I got sick. Horrible horrible horrible. It leaked a quart an hour for 5 hours. Had to cancel could not contact anyone for 4 days regarding leaking ac unit. Called emergency # no one responded properly for 4 days!!!!!! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE HORRIBLE

Stayed Aug 29, 2025The place was perfect for us! We saw a lot of your other properties as we walked on the boardwalk so next time we’ll choose one of them!! Two quick things the AC unit in bdrm starting leaking Monday so we stopped using it. I was very happy with all the appliances and kitchenware. However I couldn’t find a cutting board; otherwise we had everything we needed! Thank Surfstyle. Patti & Don

Stayed Jul 2, 2025This is the fifth time we've stayed at a surf style property in San Diego and it won't be the last. I already knew I loved this property, having stayed there last year, but it was even better this time. It's the little things that add up to a great stay. Clean white and comfortable linens and bedding. Full size shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the shower. Kitchen wares that are well cared for and make it easy to have home cooked meals while on vacation. Cable TV, patio, parking, AC. I almost don't want to leave this review so I can keep this place my secret. Can't go wrong with Surf Style!

Stayed May 17, 2025We had a great time and the property was as described and met all of our needs, but what really makes it awesome is the location! Right by the bay, across the street from the beach, and walkable to so many restaurants, coffee shops, and bars! Having parking is also a game-changer - it was really nice not having to search for parking and though it’s a fairly narrow alley/parking area, was pretty easy to navigate with a small SUV. Would be harder with a big truck or Suburban-size SUV. It was well-stocked with what we needed and so nice to be able to do laundry.

Stayed Apr 7, 2024When we arrived, we were shocked at how small it was. Much smaller than expected. No refund policy so we were stuck (unless we booked and paid for another place– loosing out complete payment for the 3 weeks we had booked). So we decided to make the best of it (location). We had booked it whilst I had medical treatments in San Diego and my husband worked from there. Bed was uncomfortable and when we washed sheets and saw the mattress cover zippered incasement was grossly strained in human excretions it was appalling as evidently this had never been washed. Flipped mattress over so the soiled cover side was down and the clean side up and noted why the bed was so uncomfortable. The wooden slates were not in place. We readjusted them but they would not stay in place. In addition, we kept being blocked in by workers working on place behind the driveway. All in all we were very disappointed and would never consider staying there again.
