This condo/townhouse is located on the the desirable west beach. It is a two story custom built 1BR/1.5 BA condo/townhome located within walking distance (5 min.) to downtown Santa Barbara shopping district and walking distance to the Stern's Wharf. The location is amazing but the condo itself is what has all our guests coming back! Our condo is part of a luxurious five-unit development community that was recognized as 2009 Project of the Year by the National Association of Home Builders. Our tranquil condo is warm and bright, with a unique modern style. The first floor of the condo is the master bedroom which has a deluxe king bed, a high-end master bathroom, and a private porch area. The porch area is surrounded by a high privacy fence and plenty of shade from the encircling trees. When you travel up the stairs you will be astounded by the spacious feel with an open kitchen, dining, and living area. The high vaulted ceilings and natural light makes this room feel larger than life. It is the perfect space for entertaining guests or just a romantic evening. The kitchen is fully equipped for all your cooking needs. We love cooking on our stainless steel commercial grade stove/oven. Our unit meets all the requirements of a LEED certified Platinum Level and is three star Built Green Certified. We really appreciate the fact that our unit is Built Green and is environmentally friendly--from the landscape designed to reduce the excessive water usage, all the way up to the cross ventilation from the strategically placed windows.

    This unit is in a convenient location, and the bed in the primary bedroom was very comfortable. However, the property is described as “high-end luxury,” and overall the unit did not meet that expectation. Much of the space would benefit from a refresh. The living room furniture is noticeably worn, and the seating is no longer supportive. The fold-out sofa bed was also quite thin and uncomfortable for our adult daughters.While the condo appeared clean at first glance, opening the cabinets and closets told a different story. The kitchen cabinets contained numerous food items left behind by previous guests, including opened boxes of crackers and chips, pasta, and even a stick of butter. The refrigerator was filled with old condiments that seemed to have been there for quite some time. In addition, we found a large amount of used bedding both upstairs and in a downstairs closet.Overall, the unit has potential, but it needs better upkeep and a more thorough cleaning to match the “luxury” description provided.

    This beautiful, well appointed townhouse was the highlight of our Santa Barbara vacation. Aside from the ideal location, the unit was immaculate, and the furnishings were very comfortable. We appreciated the well-stocked kitchen, with many snack surprises. We had an entry code glitch upon arrival, and the host was immediately available to assist. A We look forward to our next visit.

    Very comfortable! Very high end appliances and furnishings. Everything worked well. We used the garage to keep our car off the street. Bed, shower, kitchen couldn’t have been better.

    The location is great! No need for a car. You can walk to the beach, restaurants, and shopping. The host provided excellent check in and out instructions and was quick to respond with questions and any issues with the property.

    We loved our 5-night stay at this property while in Santa Barbara celebrating our anniversary. The location was so convenient to restaurants/shopping/etc that at one point we didn’t drive our car for two days. The living space and amenities worked well for us and having a garage was a bonus considering the parking challenges in the area. Everything was as advertised. Communication with the property manager was excellent both on logistics beforehand as well as checking in with us during our stay. We would definitely stay here again.

    The property is in a very quiet neighborhood close to the beach and restaurants. Very nicely kept and a versatile floorplan with the primary bedroom down with full bath and a half-bath on the second level. Very open kitchen and living area on the second level. High end finish-out. Nice patio overlooking the courtyard. Great place to stay.

    Not much to add to all the previous reviews. This property is all it's been stacked up to be...clean, cozy, well decorated, and in middle of all the best SB has to offer. We would stay here again, and hope to soon.
