Great location. Right in the heart of downtown area. A mile from Truck Stop and Elvi’s Kitchen. Javier, the host, was very nice and helpful. The Casita was perfect for just me. Had everything I needed. Would definitely stay here again!

I have traveled around the world and have never been so ready to go back to this property. Javier and family never say no to any request. Javier is also a fisherman who will sell you however many pounds of fish you want. My place was cleaned every week and looked like new when I came home from scuba diving. It’s a very clean safe apartment. Right next door is a soccer court with seriously great soccer games happening once a week. Get the top floor apt for the best seats in the stadium. I will miss the whole family. I just want to say thanks

We loved our time at the Riverside Casitas! The location was great for us, we have no issues walking and walked all the down to the airport and back multiple times. It was clean and easy to get any new items that we needed like fresh towels or garbage bags. The fruit stand down the road was awesome and great prices. Also reccomend eating at the local spot across the street! The dock and chairs to lay on were really nice to spend some time watching the boats go by.

The property itself is very nice! We had the upstairs unit and it was very clean, had modern amenities, and was well stocked. The host and onsite caretaker were both responsive and nice! It's hard to tell from the description and pictures, but the location is in an area where locals have housing and they are in need of repair. We mention this so others aren't surprised as we were. The unit has 2 locks on the front gate, which can make it more difficult to get in and out, a double lock on the sliding front door, and is under camera surveillance so there is security, but we were uneasy at first. One of the locks on the front gate also wasn't always locked and the locks were hard to unlock/lock. Perhaps, the salt air is causing the rust and mechanisms to not work easily. The unit is close to shopping, restaurants, tour pickup spots, a grocery store, the gas station, and the beach, which was very nice. The unit has a sleeper sofa, which we used, but we had to ask for sheets and a pillowcase. The sheets arrived, but we didn't receive the pillowcase so we used an extra pillow from the bed. The unit was stocked with 2 towels, a wash cloth, and a hand towel, but we were there for a week so we asked for another set. It might be nice to store extras in the unit. Also, electricity went out 6 times during our stay, which the host and caretaker can't control, but know that the unit doesn't have a generator so you could be out of electricity for hours like we were twice.

The casita was new and very clean. It was in a great location close to town and amenities. The apartment was well appointed with a great stove and full sized fridge. The one down side was the plastic tableware, cups, plates and glasses. A real wine glass with proper glass tableware would be a welcome addition. Otherwise a great place and would recommend it.

Nice and close to all the restaurants

Beautiful place ,100% USA standard accommodation , very pleasant people managing the property. The river runs in the backyard, with a nice dock where boats can come to pick you up and bring you back home after an ocean trip. Great fishing also.
