Stayed Mar 9, 2026Just like the earlier guest from their Feb '26 check in, ours was unnecessarily stressful. It appears Grand Welcome has not changed their systems and processes to make it easier for future guests to check in here.I responded to all of their emails prior to arriving in Mammoth and initialed the electronic documents that I thought I needed to before I would receive the address, directions and code for the door all in the next and final email. The day before we arrived. I still didn't have the check-in information. When we did arrive at the condo after four o'clock, the code for the electronic lock on the door was incorrect and there was no key in the lockbox. Turns out we didn't need the key in the lock box to get in the door and we were not informed of such.I finally called that suspicious number (615 area code) to whom I didn't want to send a picture of my credit card and license. Turns out it was an employee of grand welcome. After all that she gave us to crack code for the door and we were in. It's a lovely cozy condo. The kitchen is workable, but small. There was water in the bottom of the refrigerator. Bath towels are small. No feedback on the hot tub because we didn't make it there. The heated toilet seats were a nice surprise. Nice and close to shops, the free town bus, gondola, and shops.

Stayed Feb 8, 2026It started with Grand Welcome Management Company asking the morning of my booking to send my id & credit card through an outside phone #. I didn’t feel comfortable with that because Vrbo specifically said not to communicate outside the app. They said it was part of vrbo’s policy & said I would not get my check-in info unless I sent it. I ended up sending the info but they kept insisting that my credit card didn’t show the information despite me sending exactly what they asked for. I went back & forth w/ them several times, called several times until I called & got on the line w/ the manager they finally sent the check-in info. When I arrived they didn’t send the correct code for me to get in. After messaging them on the app 3x they didn’t respond. I reached out to them on their phone # & they gave the correct code. I got inside & found several issues. They had a sign that said the sofa bed was out of order. The fire place didn’t work & there was a loud clanking sound coming from the heater in the down stairs bedroom. I let them know & someone came over. They were unable to fix anything & said they would be back with portable heaters. I waited 2 hours & asked if they were coming they said no they’d bring it in the morning. So we had a room w/ no heat & no extra bed to use for our kids. We then found a wet used rag in the bathtub & the water pressure in upper shower was a trickle. I asked for help through our trip w/ no response to resolving the issues through all of our trip.

Stayed Dec 29, 2025Spent 4 nights here with my family. Great condo for families or a large group of adults. Ample space to stretch out & relax, beds are VERY comfortable, bathrooms have basic toiletries covered and heated toilet seats - an amenity I didn’t even know I needed until now. Kitchen is well appointed and they use the space available well. Appliances are basically brand new and work perfectly. Plenty of games and puzzles to keep busy, in addition to 3 TVs. The decor shows a lot of love for time spent in Mammoth; it’s very sweet. Located walking distance from the Village, even when snowing, and it’s also a short walk to the bus. We didn’t try out the hot tub or laundry facilities, but they’re located within the complex. The property management company was easy to keep in touch with and the expectations for check-in and check-out were clear. We would absolutely stay here again.
