2BD/2BA Sundunes 164 | Private Beach, Pool, Grills

My husband and I have stayed at Sundunes frequently over the last 30 years. I would give this unit 5 stars except for the property manager. We had the worst experience ever with Southern Vacation Rentals; I give them a 1. I had to ask them several questions, via VRBO messages and directly via texts and phone calls. All the information they gave was wrong. For example, I was told there were no blankets in the unit and to bring my own (impossible as I was flying--but the unit did have blankets). Was told there was only a regular coffee maker in the unit (in fact there was both a drip and Keurig). Was told to make arrangements for a pest control visit (no one showed up). But the worst was their insistence that I print my own parking pass--which was not possible until I picked up my rental car and would have been extremely inconvenient to do. In fact, one has to register a vehicle online through a portal; no printing is necessary (I verified this with the online HOA service). It was very frustrating to me to find out that there is no local Southern office; all calls go to an off-shore call center. They have no idea what is actually happening and were of no help whatsoever. If I had known there was no one local who could help me, I would not have rented this unit. I can't overstate how frustrated I was trying to communicate with them, or how negatively that experience impacted our vacation.

The floor wasn't that clean

The property was as described in the listing- met expectations. Ran into glitch with the keyless door entry keypad. It reset the code on it's own. An easy call into property management and it was quickly resolved remotely.We had a great stay!

The condo was fresh and well furnished. The beds were comfortable and the view was fantastic. We had everything we needed. I would definitely stay here again.

The stay was wonderful and the condo great. Had both beach and west view. The only issue we had was getting info from property manager. During the once in a century snow storm the elevator quit. We were on the 6th floor and had to use the stairs for 60 hours. I would have expected status updates from property manager but we had to continue to send messages to know when repair was being done. And all we got then was we have contacted the condo assn.

The property listed is exactly what you will see. Everything was Perfect!

This location was perfect! We had job changes prior to our trip and our plans quickly turned in to a work vacation. The location was perfect for us to balance work and play. The kitchen provided us with everything we would need. The refrigerator met all of our needs! Kuddos for the ice dispenser!! Restaurants and things to do were just an easy drive or walk. We definitely will be back!

We recently stayed at this beachfront condo and it was great. The views were stunning, with easy access to the beach just steps away. The condo was well-equipped and comfortably furnished. The location was perfect for relaxation. Overall, a good experience that we would highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy a beach getaway!

Nice place and they were fast at replying back to any concerns we had.
