Stayed Feb 11, 2024The electrical configuration was very poor, the fact that there were no switches in the loft was very inconvenient, two old lamps were very dull. We were unable to use the bathroom light at night in fear we’d wake the rest of the condo as the fan that comes on with the light made a horrible noise when on. The beds are terrible and the frames make as much noise as the fan. We believe it was some sort of timer from the a/c unit on the main floor that would beep at some point in its cycle ( usually in the middle of the night). The condo was very poorly equipped missing simple kitchen amenities such as serving dishes,baking sheets, dishrags. Trying to bring anything to the bbqs was irritating. Luckily there were five beach chairs but that was it, we ended up buying an umbrella to provide some shelter and having to leave it. Would NOT rent this unit again.

Stayed Mar 29, 2024We landed in the middle of night to learn that the 2 BR unit we booked was given to someone else. Mgmt was able to find us another room but not what we asked for. They said they'd comp us a night which has not occurred. We moved on day 3 in order to get into something closer to our original booking. Overall, we like Kam Sands but this was a majorly botched booking procedure that really affected our stay.

Stayed Dec 19, 2022We really enjoyed the views and property features. Assigned parking was also very convenient. Check in and check out process went smoothly too. A significant rain storm allowed some rain to enter the 4th floor roof that soaked the sheets of two downstairs beds, but it was only a temporary issue as the rains passed. Property management was responsive to our need for clean bedding and inspection.
