2 BR 1-1/4 Bath Dog friendly, Hi Country Haus 1st Flr WP Condo by river, Cozy!!!

It was an absolute perfect location for myself, my wife and mother in law to spend Christmas. I love the Christmas decorations around the fireplace. There is a really nice trail right outside to take our dog on a walk. A very short walk to Hideaway park and Cooper Square. Unfortunately December was a super dry month throughout Colorado so skiing was not the best. But the condo itself was perfect for me and my family. We had a great time and would love to come back again.

Great location! Loved being by the river. Pet friendly. Host was wonderful! Would stay again!

It was very close to everything in the communication with the hostess was amazing and we truly enjoyed our stay and will be back again

Property was unique as it was right on the Frazer River and offered a grassy knoll area on the river bank for the dogs to relax. Place was nice and quiet with lots of parking. Recreational center was great and very clean. Thanks for a wonderful stay at your charming and cozy ccondo

The house was very cozy. There was additional snow gear and clothes for use. The owners were very friendly and responsive. We had a lovely stay!

Expectation management is required. Small galley kitchen and you may need to step into the shower to close the bathroom door. It’s a small condo in a ski town. Good place to rest and relax though.

I am very unhappy with this location. Expedia advertised 2 bedroom 3 bath condo. When we walked in the condo smelled like dog.The smell was so strong we had to buy air freshener to try and combat the smell.Which never went away. 2nd the condo had a small shower and toilet . It doesn’t have 3 bathrooms.Only a vanity in the master bedroom and one outside of the small shower. I paid for what was advertised and didn’t get any of that.The host was understanding after I called and texted her the information from Expedia. I also told her about the smell . She said she would get the carpets cleaned when we left.She was unsure why they advertised 3 bathrooms. She was polite but we had to stay because everything was booked in the area. I am very upset because I planned this trip in March. I won’t use Expedia again because they lied and every time we went back inside the condo it stunk. On top of having to share a bathroom that was so small you couldn’t just open the bathroom door and sit without your legs touching the door. Very disappointed and I have tried to talk to Expedia since we arrived Friday. And I can’t get a live person on the phone. It was the worst place I have stayed. The property is only for someone with a dog who doesn’t mind the smell. And not enough bathrooms for more than 1 person. I advised the owner to change the advertising and only rent to pet owners. And cleaning the carpet would be great. But of course she said when we leave which didn’t help us.

We had a wonderful stay! The condo was super cozy, clean, and had everything we needed. Very convenient for getting to the ski slopes. Lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance.

My stay was great up to the point where the shower door shattered while I was in it and the owner has since gone insane! She won't refund me and has charged me for the door even though it was absolutely no fault of mine or my family. This is the true testament to the type of person she is and would absolutely not recommend staying here. I'd post the pictures of my cuts but that would not be family friendly.

Overall stay was amazing. Condo was as described, very clean and cozy. Well stocked unit with everything you would ever need and extremely comfortable beds! Hernando’s Pizza, Randi’s Pub and Moon Frog coffee are seconds away and soooooo good. Diana was a great host, look forward to returning to Winter Park and this condo!!

The location is perfect, literally a 50 foot walk to the free winter park shuttle to the mountain. Nice, family friendly spot. My only warning is that there’s a lot of noise when people are walking on the floor above, which drove our dog crazy!

Cozy, like staying at a friends place. Great location, easy access to bus, and pool/community center is really nice.

Nice place in the middle of town, easy access to the slopes, shopping, food and entertainment. It's so nice that it's on the first floor only a short walk from parking. We would stay there again.

There may be other fancier units in the Hi Country Haus complex...but this ground level, walk out to the stream, dog friendly unit was just perfect for our family. I loved being able to fly fish with with my boy and my pup just a few steps off the front door! Well be back soon! Thank you!

Will reserve it again

We mainly came to Winter Park to be closer to the Aspens for hiking. The condo served our needs, though my daughter had to go buy a new pillow. We loved having the Fraser Creek/River right outside our door. I would highly recommend it to a friend!

When we arrived, we let ourselves in. Nothing had been cleaned, the coffee pot was still warm and dirty, beds not made, bathroom dirty. One hour or so later, we returned. The kitchen seemed to still be dirty. No clean sponges or scratchers (never did use what was there), clutter everywhere, no space to put clothes in closets, a dirty big spot on the living room floor, just a complete not ready condo. Was very sorry we had to stay in this place for five nights. Considering other condos we have stayed at Hi Country Hau, this one was not our best. Just did not have that warm fuzzing feeling.

Great location next to river, felt private, walkable to everything! Fully stocked kitchen, board games, etc. Only very small critique- has a very very tiny bathroom which is literally hard to get in and out of without stepping in the shower- which limits accessibility.

Being by the river was very relaxing and host was very helpful!

We stayed for a couple of days just as a quick getaway. The owner was great with communication and very helpful! The condo is cozy and comfortable and dogs are allowed which was a bonus for us! The river right outside was lovely to listen to and walk by. There is only one VERY small bathroom but has nice shower. Easily walkable to several restaurants. Overall the place was clean with necessities provided. There did seem to be a backlog of laundry piled in closet. We did not use the recreation amenities like pool or hot tub but the building looked very nice!

The condo was nice but the bathroom was so tiny. My husband said he never wants to go back because of the tiny bathroom. I am a small person and i was banging my arms against the shower door and wall! Other than that it was very nice

We walked in and everything was so clean. We felt very comfortable. Close walk to restaurants and town. Would stay again.
