2-Bedroom apartment (D1), walk to Main Street

The owner provided clear instructions for check-in and the property was as described in the listing. The combination living room/kitchen/dining area was plenty spacious for the four guests on our trip and had everything we needed. The apartment was also a very short walk to a few different restaurants and diners as well as the Lake Placid Pub. I would stay here again.

Perfect location for any activity in the Lake Placid area! We were in town on a hiking trip, but this would be a fantastic location for cycling, swimming in mirror lake, or just walking the downtown. Kitchen was functional for simple meals, and there was plenty of living space for our group of 4.

Nicely maintained property with full kitchenet. We had a good stay here, close to town center. Will come back for sure

Great location and apartment.

Great location. Served our needs well and gave us flexibility to not eat every meal in a restaurant. A few extra towels and full size trash can would be a nice addition. Ok for a few nights. Did appreciate the dishwasher and coffee maker.

Great location and friendly host. Perfect spot to walk into town and close to hiking spots. 2nd time staying at this location, and will continue to stay here when we come to lake placid.

The property was nice. Everything was very clean. We had some issues with the fridge and hot water. But the VRBO owner, was quick to come assist. The location was perfect. 5 minute walk from main street. Easily accessible. The only major concern was that the Unit is on the main floor and the windows do not lock. Not ideal when traveling with a child.

Property was clean and well appointed. A pot holder would be a nice addition, but we managed with what we had. Great central location. Would definitely stay here again.

Our recent stay was a wonderful place to enjoy great Adirondack hiking with our dog and fine dining in Lake Placid. Our host was great and we had everything we needed. Highly recommended.

The unit was adequate. It did have everything we needed. The kitchen was well stock with what we needed. It was close to town so the location was great. Our problem with the unit it that it was not clean. On the surface it looked clean, but it was not. I let the owner know so hopefully he will get with his cleaning crew to do better. The beds, couch and living room chairs were tired. I think the unit has been used a lot and is in need of a deep cleaning and some new furniture. Like I said, adequate as it had the things we needed and provided a homebase, but we were disappointed.

Overall acceptable with exception of no Handicap rails in the shower or toilet area. No soap dish attached in the shower. Fireplace did not appear to be able to activate..no controls for ambience. Dust around window areas. Couch was very old and uncomfortable..sits way too low. Should have a recliner for at least for one older person. Street was noisy early in morning traffic area. Parking area is an accident waiting to happen..asphalt rising in lot and bumps..safety issue (lawsuit) waiting to happen if someone falls.

Great 2 bedroom location, that takes pets!! Super clean, and well taken care of. Stayed for a 4 day weekend, and wish I could have stayed longer. Only a short walk to downtown Lake Placid, and all the shops and restaurants. A PERFECT location to see or participate in the annual Ironman event.

Neven was quick to respond and help any of our requests. Great location and great apt..our family loved the stay. We have stayed here before and will be back in the future.

This was a great location as we were in Lake Placid for the horse show. Rental is exactly as pictures show. Thanks for a great stay
