    Loved the location and all the amenities they had a variety of things to do. Plenty of pool areas that weren’t crowded. I will definitely be back.

    We traveled for a week long family vacation and stayed at this two bedroom home. The house was perfect for the size of our family. The unit included 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with a full kitchen and washer and dryer. We were able to cook a few meals at home and there were cooling utensils, pots, pans, and baking sheets available to use. They have two coffee pots available to use (one drip coffee and one Keurig). They had a TV in the living room and both bedrooms with Xfinity and streaming services. Upon arrival we were disappointed in the cleanliness of the house. The front bedroom didn't appear to have the bedding cleaned as the beds were not made and the bedding was piled on the floor. We used the pull out couch and bedding was on there from a previous guest. The deck is great although we didn't get many opportunities to use it with passing storms leaving the furniture wet but if the weather was nice I would have imagined we would have used it to read, eat, or just relax. Sea Colony as a resort is phenomenal, we will be back! There are a few trams that takes you throughout the resort and over to the beach. And one of the tram stops are in front of the unit. The pools and lifeguards were great. So many options. Most of the activities the week we went (for the family/kids) were cancelled due to weather but would be fun to participate in. The Sea Colony app is perfect for getting an understanding of available things to do, tracking the tram, and more.

    Subject: Formal Complaint: Uninhabitable Rental & Lack of Support Dear Vacasa Team, I am writing to formally lodge a serious complaint regarding my recent stay at one of your properties, which was completely uninhabitable and grossly misrepresented. From the moment we arrived, we encountered the following unacceptable conditions: • No lighting in one of the bedrooms—making it unusable. • Ant infestation throughout the unit, including bedrooms and kitchen. • A strong smell of mold, posing serious health concerns. • Trash and food wrappers left on the patio—evidence of poor or no cleaning. • Dirty, outdated furniture—I had to put my own bedsheets over the bedspread just to sleep. I reported these issues immediately, only to be met with the response: “There’s nothing that can be done.” That is not an acceptable answer when your guests are staying in unsafe and unsanitary conditions. Meanwhile, Vacasa was quick to charge us multiple fees with no hesitation, but completely unwilling to resolve or even attempt to address our complaints. This experience was not only deeply disappointing but borderline fraudulent. If I do not receive a response within 5 business days, I will be reporting this to: • Local news outlets • The Better Business Bureau (BBB) • Consumer protection agencies • Online review platforms and forums This is not how any guest should be treated, and I will not allow it to go unanswered.

    My honest review:Upon arrival kitchen was sparkling clean Floors were swept well and mopped.Smelled a bit stuffy so I went to open windows and the screens were too old and definitely would let bugs in.Slider was the only option, glad I brought a small fan.Onto the bedrooms… I was thankful the unit provided sheets and blankets.Have to say though …I was surprised by the old faded multicolored bed spread.Unfortunately when I went to remove it, a strong body odor smell was emanating from it — later to find out ALL the pillows had that same stinky odor !Hope they replace them along with the master bedroom rug (felt pasty dirty).Yes I talked to Vacasa and informed them they said they’ll get back to me and never did.Glad I brought my own blanket and pillow.I did wash the pillow cases so I could sleep without the smell!!Lastly, the WiFi went out and couldn’t find the router to restart.Maintenance came in Wed and we found it — restarted and was fixed!I can say I won’t be back— didn’t like the decor or location.But hey — nice master shower tile and kitchen cleanliness was a huge plus!!I actually left before Saturday bc the weather was yucky I would have stayed if the decor and location were better.

    Location and beach use was great. Plenty of room and nice to have two full baths and washer/dryer. Lots of books for rainy days! We were there last weekend of September for a reunion event. Most of the outdoor pools are closed then but we did use the beach. First time at Bethany Beach and would love to return. The stay we choose was not as close to beach as we would have liked but that was only because we were 'first-timers' and not familiar with Sea Colony (it is a really large community!)

    Love sea colony, we go every year. This condo was quiet and cute. The double bed was hard as a rock but the two twins were a bit softer. Other than that we had a great stay and really enjoyed the patio!

    We rented for a week. The property has good space and layout. The pools and other shared facilities are nice. The unit was tidy. Nice sized bedrooms. Nice artwork. The unit needs a few small investments to meet expectations. First, The A/C unit couldn’t cool down the unit. Maybe it just needs some maintenance work but when set at 72, only cooled to 77. Second, the screen door to porch falls off the rails and doesn’t fit well. Result, lots of bugs in the u it in the evening. Third, porch lighting is dismal. Literally. Can’t see your food or people if you eat out there. Four, the unit has a musty, almost moldy smell. That needs to be investigated and solved. Had some allergic moments because of that. Five, the kitchen is not well stocked with the essentials for cooking..

    We are family of a Sea Colony owner and rented this place for overflow guests. Very nice on the pond. Close to a pool and pickleball courts. Very nice 2 bedroom unit.

    We had some a/c issues the first day , but the owner and Vacasa got a tech out the same day to fix it. Nice place and nice stay overall.
