Stayed Jan 16, 2026Summary - Disappointing stay; heating, cleanliness, and age issues.I really wanted to enjoy this stay, but unfortunately, there were significant issues that made it difficult. The biggest challenge was that the property had no working heat during very cold weather. While the property management company was kind enough to drop off portable heaters after I reached out, the property owner was unresponsive to my messages about the lack of heat.Communication with the owner was a struggle from the start. I actually had to contact VRBO support just to get my reservation confirmed because the owner wasn't replying. Aside from the cold, the property is very old and outdated compared to the photos. The washer and dryer, for example, looked like they were 40 years old. The bathrooms were also not cleaned properly upon arrival, with hair and dirt visible in both. I appreciated the management team's effort to help, but the property needs serious updates and cleaning before I could recommend it.
