Loved the ocean view.

Location on Rathtrevor Beach is exceptional. Unit was spotlessly clean with a good layout for 2 couples.

This is a wonderful property. The sandy beach is right out front, and at low tide you can walk for miles. The unit is well equipped with everything you need to prevent meals. The only downside to this property is that there are no shops or restaurants within walking distance.

This unit is a wonderful place that has a view of the ocean. It was clean, and very well stocked, more than any other place we have stayed at. The host provided great directions and information about the unit. Would go back in a heartbeat.

We were very comfortable at this unit. It’s location is perfect, right by the beach and park. The view is beautiful. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and the kitchen was very well equipped. We enjoyed spending 2 weeks in the Parksville area.

The location and view are perfect. The unit is dated and needs a clean up. Upper level bedroom carpet is dirty. Burned out light bulbs in 4 locations. Walls are not clean and need painting. Not owners fault but a heads up. Allocated parking spot is very awkward to get in and out of particularly in the dark. This led to the scratching of my rental car. Likely 1000. in damage. Living room sofas are most uncomfortable. After 1 month sore backs. Owner did not provide entry code until 2hours before check in. Cause of a lot of anxiety.

What a fabulous stay!The place was warm, comforting, clean and welcoming. And what a view!Our host was quick to reply to any questions or concerns we had, though there were few—the place was perfect!

It’s a very open livable space with all the amenities of home. The real stand-out quality is the view and the convenience of being so close to the beautiful beach. The sunrises were gorgeous and the park next door makes for a lovely evening walk.

Excellent location. Lots of trails nearby for walking along the ocean. Mini golf nearby. Kitchen is well stocked, comfortable living room area. Our only complaint was that the beds were hard making sleeping a little uncomfortable if you are used to a softer mattress. Would definitely return to this condo.

Locstion was fabulous

Excellent property in ideal location. While not directly on the beach, it is very close and has wonderful beach views. Less than 1 minute walk from front door to beach. When tide is fully out, probably more than 1km or more of sand to the ocean, so a leisurely 20 minute stroll from beachfront to ocean along spectacular flat sand beach. When tide is on its way in, the water warms up across the sand, perfect for kids and adults alike, and one of the reasons Rathtrevor beach so desirable. It’s very hard to beat the location as it borders Rathtrevor provincial park so no neighbors to the north.The accommodation itself is very clean and well maintained. It is not modern, but perfect for the environment and very comfortable as a place to come home to after a day at the beach. It’s a very comfortable and relaxing place to stay after a fun day at the beach. Likely important to many, the accommodations are exceptionally clean and well maintained, credit to the owner and cleaning staff. Bottom line, if you are interested in staying in or around Parksville or Rathtrevor Beach, this should be a top candidate for a place to stay, you will not regret. I would stay again.While we didn’t prepare more than a basic meal, everything is there is nothing lacking for making a full family meal.

My family and I had a great time at this property. So close to the beach, very spacious and clean. We will be back!

We've stayed in many units at tanglewood over the years, each with their own unique benefits. This unit was excellent for location to beach/water views and well equipped kitchen.A bit outdated interior, but comfortable and what you'd expect for a beach vacation. Very enjoyable stay!

Wonderful accommodations and the beach was so interesting and very enjoyable during low tide. Spacious and clean. Loved the outdoor decks.

Absolutely wonderful property, fairly well maintained, has many ammenities and is close to the shopping and terrific for beachlife.

Staying at Andrew’s place was a great experience! The property is exactly as described/pictured. Everything was clean and we appreciated all the thoughtful touches (beach towels, beach chairs/umbrella).We loved having a bbq dinner, watching the tide coming in and out through the big living room window, hanging out on the beach and going for walks along the beach path in neighbouring Rathtrevor park.The layout worked very well for us—each of the two couples had their own bathroom and we could all sit comfortably in the living room.We would go back in a heartbeat!

The place is beautiful, the view is awesome.Very clean and cozy.Everything you could possibly need!Wish we could’ve stayed a lot longer..I will definitely be back!

Wonderful place to stay .... so close to the beach. Very comfortable home .... very well equipped. Would definitely recommend this place.

Too much cleaning for a vacation. We had already paid a cleaning fee, but still has to clean house every day during our stay. On our last morning, We still have to do laundry of towels , sheets, sweep floors , kitchen dishes, put out garbage . Otherwise, it was a very good & convenient place to stay and enjoy the weekend.

Carport parking spot requires an eight point turn to get into. Very tight area and all sloped. Steep hill that visitor parking is at too of.Had to wash towels empty garbage and recycle and take up to top of hill upon leaving. No gas in the BBQ. Staircase up to unit...not on ground level. Also rule was unable to leave property before 0700 so as not to disturb . Rule was to park up top of you had an early morning departure. Not for anyone who has any sore of mobility issue or is elderly!Furniture tired and worn. Poor quality mattresses on beds.View was lovely. Proximity to beach and Rathtrevor provincial park was awesome. Open living space area was nice and gasgaforeplacenwoorked.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The kitchen was the best equipped we've ever encountered through VRBO. The views were amazing from both inside and on both decks. The proximity to beach, walking trails was perfect. We highly recommend this property.

Well furnished and comfortable

Excellent. It could not have been better. To get away from the busyness of life, this was perfect. Location was a 10/10, as was pretty well everything else. Thank you.

The location is amazing and the accommodation is expansive with an incredible view.The downside is that it is a little worn, the washrooms need updating (some tiles in tub should be replaced as well as fixtures in sink. The carpet need to be replaced as badly stained. Also the large blind in the large front window was stuck open so had to put a blanket up on it each night (I did contact the owner regarding this was told that should work but would have some look at it, I did say we could live with it but it would have been nice it is was repaired in the 7 days we were there.

Nice place to hangout during massive downpours from an atmospheric river …. Nice and cozy and lots to do in the area on wet days. Would be good to have more details about the coffeemaker and recycling.

It doesn’t get any better with regard to the location of this property! The ocean view, the Tanglewood area and the condo itself
