When I bought unit 1200 six years ago, the manager at the time said, Congratulations, you bought The Penthouse! That's what we call it. People at the Galvestonian still do.
When entering 1200, it's easy to see why people still refer to it as The Penthouse: there nothing like the feeling of having Nothing but Sky above, unlimited Gulf panoramas from the balcony on the left, in front, the entire northern end of Galveston Island, ships sailing in and out of Galveston Bay, the Bolivar Is

It was nearly remodeled, kitchen was superb, all new appliances and very clean.The views are amazing in these three bedroom units. It’s well worth going to three bedrooms because of all the room you have in the unit. The Galvestonian itself was also a wonderful experience. The front desk people are very responsive and very helpful. I am a repeat customer and will continue to come back.

Our favorite was the view to the east along the beach and into the Bay as well as out to the ocean, of course. And to be eye level with the pelicans was unreal! The unit was great - had everything we needed from a fully stocked kitchen to comfortable beds and living area. we also enjoyed the hot tub, pool and the easy beach access. So nice not to have to cross a road to get there. Thank you for all!

Reviewer Comments: We had originally booked another location and it was not operational the day we arrived. After scrambling a bit I called the Galvestonian and Anna was so very helpful finding us the perfect unit for our stay. The entire staff was friendly and professional. The facility is decorated beautifully, the lobby is comfortable, the pool is nice with plenty of chairs and tables. The boardwalk to the beach is also very convenient. Our unit was also nicely decorated with stunning views from the balconies. It was very clean and well stocked. The only reason for the 4 stars is because we didn’t have window coverings in one of the bedrooms. We will definitely be back!
