We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this Princeville condo — truly one of our best vacations ever! The condo was spotless, comfortable, and incredibly well equipped. Everything we needed for cooking and laundry was provided, the beds were very comfortable, and there were plenty of towels, including beach towels. We especially appreciated the boogie boards and beach chairs!The location and views were amazing: beautiful mountain views from one side of the condo and a distant ocean view from the other. It was peaceful and quiet, aside from the charming Kauai roosters announcing the morning!Communication with the host was excellent from start to finish.Kauai itself is a little piece of paradise — so laid back and beautiful. We brought our children (19 and 14 years old) and spent a lot of time hiking spectacular trails with breathtaking views. We also enjoyed tubing, kayaking, and attending a luau. A car is definitely needed to explore the island, and visitors should expect prices to be higher than on the mainland, but it is completely worth it.All around, this was the perfect vacation and a stay we would highly recommend!

We were thrilled with the condo and would definitely return. The condo was clean and had beach equipment, including backpack chairs, snorkel gear, and an umbrella. The private pool area was fantastic, with a hot tub, grills, and lawn chairs. The mountain view from the condo is lovely. There was a large king and two double beds in two bedrooms with two bathrooms, so our family of four was very comfortable. Princeville is a wonderful location to see Hanalei and the north side of the island. Although there isn't too much of an ocean view, we could stroll over to the next development to look out at the ocean in the morning and they even had a breakfast cart. The only suggestion would be stocking the kitchen with more spices, oils, etc. Otherwise, we were so pleased and enjoyed our stay!

The property was conveniently located in Princeville; where you could walk to the grocery store, golf course or shops. Round trip about three miles. The bike path was so easy to find along with lookouts, beach assess and other near by hotels and restaurants. The views of the mountain was gorgeous and had a peek a boo view of ocean from the lanai.The condo was well stocked (beach towels, cooler, beach chairs/blanket) and had everything we needed for our stay. We only wish the pool would have been heated but we did swim when possible. The hot tub was wonderful after a long day of hiking. Hanalei is close but everything else is easily forty to one hour away depending on traffic. We liked being on the North shore because we saw lots of whales and the mornings were cooler for walking. The island itself is so green and lush. Plenty to do in the area!

This was a great place to stay! A well stocked kitchen, everything you need for the water (boogie boards, snorkels, flippers, cooler, chairs, and towels). And to top it off the views were amazing ! Great VRBO!

The views from this condo were fantastic! The kitchen was very user friendly. The location was wonderful for getting to the beautiful north shore beaches and Hanalei easily. Great running trail close by. We’d definitely like to stay there again!

We just concluded a fantastic stay at Ali’i Kai 14G. You get what you pay for here, and I mean that in the most complimentary of ways. The top five features for me at this unit were 1) the ability to have both mountain and sea views (sea and swaying palm tree views are on the lanai);2) the well-written, thoughtful and extensive instructions and recommendations that were provided to us beforehand— Very Much Appreciated; 3) the sense of peace and quiet throughout the complex, no matter the hour;4) the pool area! Nice clean water and not-too-hot hot tub; 5) access to the unbelievably beautiful Hideaways Beach and turtle cove.(Bonus #6: having two beds in the second bedroom. This is surprisingly difficult to find) The outstanding reviews this condo has earned are well-deserved! We definitely hope to be back within a couple of years! Our family had an amazing experience at this beautiful condo. It is well-equipped for a family. Incredible views and ambiance. Clean, well-organized, and so cute! The thoughtful recommendations from the property owner were especially helpful in making our trip a special one. We hope to be back soon.

The three of us, me, my spouse, and my 23 year old daughter stayed in this condo for roughly a week while on vacation in Kauai. Kauai was beautiful and our lodging allowed us to maximize the enjoyment of our stay. The place was the perfect size, it was cozy and home-y, every thing was very comfortable. At first we didn't know that there was no a/c, but we don't have any at home in Michigan either (which is common for older, non-updated houses) so we knew to open the windows to get fresh air. We got there very late at night, and we were exhaustedfrom travel, so we figured we'd figure out the a/c in the morning. Well, we finally realized the next day that there was no a/c, or HVAC of any kind, I was really surprised because the complex and neighborhood look to be built in the time frame that, in the Mid-West, would have had central air in every unit. Well, since we were seasoned no central air people, we were able to accept the lack of a/c as part of life. The breeze from the open windows and ceiling fans was more than sufficient to keep us cool when we were in the unit, even at night sleeping. Slept great! Probably better than if there was a/c.The host has guidebooks and other types of material on the coffee table and let me tell you, I took full advantage of the reading material. I actually lost my phone the second day we were there--not in the unit, but on a public beach. I never recovered it while we were there, so I READ BOOKS. A last word--the water pressure is AWESOME.

Some friends and I stayed here with a plan to be outside exploring the island during the days. We basically just wanted somewhere to sleep peacefully, shower, and eat. This place more than exceeded that. They provided many towels, boogie boards, and some other outdoor stuff. The resort is super quiet. Some reviews complained about noisy roosters. You can definitely hear them pretty much 24/7 but it's not that bad. Get yourself tired on the beach and sleep will not be an issue. Overall, great experience. Host communicated when necessary, and wasn't pushy or annoying like hosts I've had in the past. Easy check-in and check-out process. Would recommend

Amazing view of the mountains from the bed was my favorite thing about this unit! Everything was very clean and it was nice to have a fan when the sun got intense in the afternoon. We enjoyed staying here and would highly recommend this rental.

Everything was as described. Great location and well appointed. Pool and Tub area was perfect

Every space is full of something - a knickknack or household items leaving NO PLACE to put the things you want to unpack. Eg.The closet is 2/3 full of bedding leaving little space to hang clothing, the dresser top is cluttered with pretty ocean-themed knickknacks. Every cupboard is full. The unit needs a deep clean - cupboard doors are sticky. Lightbulbs were burned out - we had one of four bulbs above the dining table not burnt out. The main area heats up (we were there in December) because the large window in the dining room has no blinds to keep out the heat and it faces the sun. It looks like there were blinds at one time, but are not there now. Location is great & view is lovely otherwise.

The condo has good facilities and is quite spacious. It was great to see the turtles in the cave so close to the condo. We celebrated Christmas there and found plenty of kitchenware for cooking and serving needed. The main bed was comfortable but the second bedroom and sofa bed mattresses could do with updating.

The stay was ok, the bedding (mattresses) need to be replaced as they are all old and very uncomfortable. Furniture in the living room is also wore done. Window sills in 2nd bedroom has mold on the frames. The shower's were good, and there is plenty of towels. the place was clean overall though. We had plenty of hot water, the dish washer did not clean the dishes as it needs to be replaced. The roosters/chickens outside the complex were so loud, had to sleep with ear plugs every night. For the amount of money it costs to rent the place, we won't go back. They host was accommodating and let us check out later, we appreciated that very much and the host provided good information about the island also.

Loved our stay here with family. The condo was centrally located to all we wished to see and visit. We were happy to have access to beach chairs, umbrella, cooler, boards and more. Loved the pool to swim in at the end of the day. I highly recommend this condo.

We really enjoyed the stay here. Easy process and excellent place. The location is beautiful, pool is great, and access to everything is easy. The place is colorful and the kitchen is very handy for company. We had family staying close by during our stay and we liked our place best.

The property was perfect in our estimation. It had all the amenities my family could want or need and was beautifully decorated. The location was ideal with incredible views from both the front and back sides. It was rather hot when we first arrived and there is no AC, but the cross breeze from open windows and the many ceiling fans made it quite comfortable throughout our stay. Our host also provided helpful recommendations for beaches, snorkeling, restaurants, etc, It was a lovely condo and relaxing vacation.
