Other highlights include The Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center, Museum of the Yellowstone and eclectic shopping at Homeroom at Madison Crossing. In warm weather, visitors explore on foot, by car, four wheeler, horseback, or mountain bike. In the winter, snowmobiles and snowshoes are essential.

PLEASE NOTE: Motor vehicle traffic is not permitted through Yellowstone National Park’s west entrance from early November to late April every year. However, the entrance remains open to hikers and cross-country skiers year-round. Guided tours on over-snow vehicles (snowmobiles and snow-coaches) are available mid-December through mid-March. The only entrance that remains open year-round to motor vehicles is the north entrance which is 170 miles (3 hours drive) away . Please review current park road closures at Yellowstone National Park before booking.
