Stayed May 29, 2025We loved the location of this condo. Our son lives in Galveston and we came to visit and enjoy the area. I was frustrated with the lack of communication from the host. I sent 3 messages about an early check in possibility, parking etc. I never received a response. I finally messaged VRBO directly and a rep contacted the host and they told me I could check in no earlier than 2 pm for an extra 50. I knew the condo was not booked the prior two days so thought that maybe an option. So no thank you to the extra 50. When we arrived an overwhelming smell of paint pervaded the condo. Took some time to open doors and windows for a day or so to get rid of the smell. The dishwasher was awful. We cooked quite a bit so this was annoying. Sign on microwave said we could not turn on microwave and oven at the same time. Odd. The condo was smaller than I hoped but it still worked out great for our family of 7 staying there. It was clean. Staff was friendly. We loved the pool, hot tub, grills and beach! Loved that beach towels were provided. We enjoyed our stay. Leaving a review because none were available for us. Hoping this helps someone out!
