We had an incredible weekend get away here. The property is very well-maintained and has everything you need for a great time. The host Christine was incredibly accommodating and helpful. Can’t wait to be back.

Christine was a great host, from the moment we booked she was extremely attentive and accomodating. House was very clean and well stocked with all the necessary essentials. The kids really enjoyed the jacuzzi tub and walking the snow covered yard and streets.

Host was very communicative. House was clean and comfortable for our four adults but we could easily have fit one or two more. Close to Jim Thorpe, Lake Harmony and Hickory Run State Park.

A lovely home in a beautiful area with plenty to do. Pretty lakes and parks to explore and only 12 miles to Jim Thorpe, a wonderful place to visit anytime but especially in autumn. The home has a comfortable living area, first floor master bedroom and a very nice second floor with two nice bedrooms and full bath. We enjoyed waking up each morning to watch the plentiful deer and turkeys roaming about the back yard. Christine was great in communicating everything and very responsive. In fact when we booked her home she checked in with a phone call probably less than an hour later. And she was in Italy!

House was clean, spacious, and well maintained. Great back deck for bbqs. Close to area attractions like Jim Thorpe, Boulder Field, and other outdoor activities. Communication with host was grear.

What a cozy, beautiful home! We loved our stay here, it was awesome as advertised. Calm and peaceful, beautiful area and neighborhood, not too far from Jim Thorpe. Our host was very accommodating and communicative. We'd definitely love to stay here again next time we come through the Poconos!

My family spent a lovely long weekend playing games and hanging out by the fireplace. Christine was an amazing host - always easy to get a hold of and highly communicative! The property was cozy and perfect.

My family and I were looking for a quiet Christmas retreat and found EXACTLY what we were looking for, here. The house is even cozier than listing implies (which is already pretty cozy), the space and layout accommodated my family perfectly, and we found all of the cleaning and cooking essentials we needed easily and plentifully. Christine is also an exceptional host who address all of our needs beforehand and decorated her home for us ahead of our arrival. I am a much poorer communicator than she is, but I appreciated her communications thoroughly. Expect to be treated well and to relax comfortably at this home!

The location is safe and friendly, I was very comfortable staying here and walking to the water. Amenities nearby, house is well-equipped and staying was very comfortable. I recommend this place.

Enjoyed a wonderful long weekend with my wife and dog at this cozy chalet in the Poconos. So close to everything - Jim Thorpe, Big Boulder, Lake Harmony and Mount Airy Casino we have so many reasons to go back. Because it's been so dry this fall the leaves weren't that vibrant but having so many other things to do and places to eat made us forget the leaf peeping. Our dog loved hanging out on the porch and staring back at the deer who were constant companions in the back yard area. Saw some turkeys as well so it was great to get back to nature! House is very cozy and has everything you'll need. Lots of vintage books and games. Christine is a wonderful, hands-on owner and answered all of our questions ahead of time as well as providing great recommendations for local restaurants and stores. A great place to stay and we hope to return soon.
