Overall it was a nice cabin but there were a few issues. The oven did not cook well. We tried to bake a pie for nearly 2 hours and it wasn't done. The beds were uncomfortable. The rug by the bottom floor shower was soaked when we first arrived. We suspect the shower must leak somewhere. The pool table and pool cues were not usable. The table wasn't level. The overall cleanliness wasn't very good. A bedframe was sticking out too far on one of the beds on the top bedroom on the left which made it a hazard and people kept getting their shins hurt on it. A dog belonging to the cabin beside ours kept coming on our porch.

Great cabin. Check-in was confusing, I must have missed on the VRBO page the information about the key? I never found it on there even after realizing it.

Everything was great. We wished the fireplace was real and the mattresses were uncomfortable. The home felt cozy yet spacious. No serious concerns and we were very happy.

The check in process was annoying and not time consuming. We traveled 5.5 hrs. We had to go 15min past the property to get the key and 15 min backtracking. Extra 30 minutes added to our travel. When we arrived, we had very close neighbors. Luckily, they were quiet. When we opened the door the smell of mildew and bad oder was overwhelming. It was terrible! We had to air out the place. The house appeared clean until we discovered dishes in the dishwasher and old coffee in the coffee machine. The beds upstairs had mold at the bottom of the bedframs that touched the mattresses. Which were absolutely terrible by the way! My poor kids complained they were old, hard and springy. The oven door doesn't close all the way. My husband had to lean against it to hold it shut while the pizza cooked. Underneath the sink had water damage and warped wood that needs to be replaced. I specifically searched for a property that had water nearby. This description states it is on a lake and swim at your own risk. Well, the trail down to the lake was so steep that we only went down there 1 time. IT IS NOT A LAKE! It is a pond that is great for fishing and kayaking. I'm not scared of the water but I wouldn't dare swim in that! The main bedroom had a pretty comfortable mattress. The living room had large windows with a view of the woods. Nice wrap around porch with a jacuzzi and pool table. Wouldn't recommend staying until issues are fixed and over priced.

This was a very disappointing trip. We had been looking forward to spending time with family and ended up leaving a day early because of these issues:1. Refrigerator did not work the first day so we had to move all the food to coolers. It somehow started working day 2.2. The kitchen sink started flooding all over the place. I tried the after hours number and no one answered. I also messaged the host and didn’t hear back for a day. I did get in touch with the desk and they sent two guys out who were nice and fixed it to a degree but it still leaked into a bowl. The dishwasher drain that is by the sink started spraying water all over everything on the counters.3. There is a broken rail at the top of the steps inside up on the second story. My two year old grandson grabbed it and almost fell down the stairs.4. There is no safe walkway to the lake. It is a treacherous muddy and slippery slope, so much of our family could not go swim to the lake. Once down there on the dock, the ladder was wood and so slippery you could not safely get out of the water. 5. Multiple bed frames metal were sticking out. Three of us cut our legs on them before we realized we needed to push them in and fix the beds.6. The basement smelled like mold and still had feathers and party decor from another guest group under the bed.7. The floors were so dirty your socks were black from walking and the showers were moldy.VRBO did refund the last night. Beware before you book this place.

Fun family gathering in a nature setting ! We loved the outdoor deck surrounded by trees. It was hot and muggy outside, but the cabins AC worked great. We appreciated the beds on all three floors, along with bathrooms on 3 floors! Plenty of hot water too. The large windows were dreamy.

I had high hopes but was disappointed. The coffee maker did not work unless the carafe was elevated, the skillets were not clean, the downstairs smelled musty and the shower had mold. The bed linens are dated and there is staining on carpet. The path to the lake was a jungle! We had plenty of room, good working a/c and hot tub and enjoyed the spacious deck.As is, I feel the rental was not a good value for my money. However, with some updating it could be!

it was a great place, as mentioned.. the stove doesn't close all the way.. BIGGEST ISSUE WAS THE LISTING, hope they fix it but the fourth bed room with a queen bed is in the same room as the living room listed with a queen bed (actually a futon you pull out to make a bed). A great location with plenty of seating to feed the whole family, super quiet and its a gated community so really zero traffic for this location. Easy access to all trails and food. highly recommend staying here.. just hope they fix the listing for the rooms.. only 4 separate sleeping areas not the 5 that seem to be listed.

I will start by saying that the house was in a great location and was a good place to stay overall. It had a lot of beds which we needed for our group ( although the bed in the middle of the basement right by the pool table was a bit awkward). Our biggest complaint was just the complete lack of Items needed to make a comfortable stay. It felt like they were being so cheap! We had one very non-absorbent towel per person so once we used the hot tub a shower was out of the question. The mixer was from the 70’s and had one blade that fit and 2 that didn’t fit that mixer. Plan on bringing your own soap, trash bags, dish tablets, laundry soap, bottled water, ice, toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo, conditioner…all those things you don’t want to have to pack for a weekend get away. Next time I’ll look for a place that will spend a few extra dollars to make a truly comfortable stay where you don’t instantly have to run to dollar general.

With the 3 levels this home worked well for a few families within our family reunion group. Enough room to be comfortable and have multiple activities at once.
