Tolcarne Stay - Luxury Newquay Apartment

Me and my 7 friends stayed here for a week at the beginning of July 2025. The apartment was a good size for us all (apart from the slanted ceilings… tall friends ended up keeping clear of them🤣) The apartment was clean and had good size living area for us all the hang out in. Perfect location as it was just outside of Newquay Town Centre, short walk of 5 mins to get to the shops. Lots of cute cafe’s around too! Our only negatives were that there wasn’t enough cooking utensils (I.e tongs and not enough cooking knives) - my friend did buy some whilst we were there as we cooked almost every night and some meals required them. Apart from that we had a lovely week stay and would highly recommend the apartment for a familygroup of friends as we had the whole Penthouse to ourselves.

Amazing stay x perfect location felt at home

Beautiful apartment it was what it said it was And pictures say it all really. As a family of 7 it really accommodated us. Can’t say there is anything we didn’t like about this apartment. The only thing we didn’t like was we didn’t have a broom to sweep up after ourselves as we had 5 children with us and gets messy. So would of liked to clean the floor

We liked the location and provision of parking (although that was very tight) Clean and fresh looking but no views out of the windows and accommodation would be tight for 8 and you would have to be prepared to queue for bathrooms. More kitchen equipment eg bowl for use in the microwave (we had to use the cereal bowls), slotted spoons, serving spoons, washing up bowl. We had to call your agent to deal with wifi problems and to unblock a drain - she was very pleasant about it, but commented that she fairly frequently had to deal with these problems in this property. Surely longer term solutions should be found.

Great location, beaches, restaurants etc Very clean Spacious All necessary facilities. Tight parking space for larger cars. Sink and shower not draining quickly, almost overflowed.

Excellent location, within walking distance of beach and one of the main streets. Lots of shops and restaurants around. Lovely, clean, modern apartment. Plenty of room for 4 adults and 2 kids. A hoover would be ideal at the property. If a small travel cot could be provided also it would have been great to save the hassle of bringing one.

Lovely apartment close to all amenities Could do with extra toilet

The property was very modern and nice however, it lacked a few essential items. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash were not supplied and only 3 toilet rolls for 7 people for 3 nights were not enough. Only one bin bag was provided meaning we had to buy our own. A lot we had to buy including; additional toilet roll, paper towel, shampoo, conditioner, body wash. Please note that you have to go up two flight of stairs to get to the property. The property had a lot of sloped ceilings which came to a little inconvenience if you’re tall. Another downside to the property was that none of the doors had locks on it including the en suite bathroom. The property overall accommodated all of us. It is very close to the station with a lot of shops within walking distance including the beach. Overall, I would recommend this property if you have a large group however, be prepared.

A lovely spacious apartment, was really modern and clean. Great location in Newquay with parking and close to everything. parking of two cars was a bit tight but we managed and great to have.
