Superb chalet in the center of Borovets 3 minutes walk from

The Taffski chalet was all we could have wanted for our holiday .It was big enough for my wife and I and our three children aged 14 to 19. It was warm, clean and well situated. It could have done with a new mattress sheets and quilt for the double bedroom. Now the DOGS!!! Our stay was totally spoilt by the free roaming hounds of hell and the guard dog nearby barking throughout the night ... every night !!! We bought earmuffs and ear plugs to try and block out the noise but we were lucky to get a couple of consecutive hours sleep without being woken. A real shame as it has put us off booking the Taffski for next year.

The property was spacious for a small cabin. Clean and neat. Nice to have one and a half washrooms to use. The full sized refrigerator was certainly a bonus. Requires more kitchen utensils, ie spatula and sharp kitchen/cutting knives. A snow shovel would be handy for vehicle parking after a heavy snowfall, which we had. A higher quality of pillows is a must. The wifi was intermittent at best. The worst problem was the smell of raw sewage coming the drain in the washroom which was covered with plastic to help prevent the stench from seeping out. At times this overwhelming throughout the entire stay.

The place was a bit small for 6 people: cupboards were under lock, decreasing the space to put our clothing. The cupboard in the smallest room had the two bottom drawers destroyed. Ski locker on the porch was also under lock: no where to store our skis, boots and poles. The kitchen was not very equiped, and there were only two hotplates. Wifi was not stable either. Besides that, we enjoyed our stay.
