Stayed Aug 23, 2025ReviewMy husband and I recently stayed in this accommodation for one week with our adult children and grandchildren (9 adults and 5 children).While the location and size of the property were great, the property has been neglected and was very disappointing.Upon arrival at the 4 pm checkin time, it did not appear that the cleaning tasks had been fully completed as the floors and bathrooms were not fully clean. This was dealt with promptly by the property manager and a cleaning crew was sent out to complete the cleaning.However, upon settling in, we noticed that the furnishings in the house were stained, sagging and broken. In the primary bedroom, the mattress and boxspring were sitting on the floor and the closet door was broken off the hinges. Shower curtains were stained and moldy.The kitchen bar stools as depicted in VRBO photos were not in the building.The only baby equipment was a stained and broken pack and play, which we did not use. The kitchen was lacking basics, there were not enough plates, bowls, glassware or cutlery for our group for one meal, no mixing bowls, platters, or other serving pieces and a number of the cookware pieces were burned or ruined.The dishwasher tab door was broken.Property Mgr did not respond to me for 4 days, and then offered a small discount which I was not satisfied with. I would not recommend this property or the property manager. - I gave 2 stars for size and location.

Stayed Aug 10, 2025We had an overall enjoyable stay at this property. The house was spacious and worked well for our large family group of 13. One of the biggest positives was the abundance of bathrooms, which made things much more comfortable and convenient for everyone. We also really appreciated having two refrigerators, which made it easy to store all of our food and drinks.That said, there are a few areas that could be improved. Some of the AC units weren’t working properly, and cooling throughout the house was uneven. The TVs and couches felt dated. Bathrooms could use more attention as well. The grill is a bit worn and rusty, and there was some clutter in closets and around the property that made things feel less tidy. Lastly, the WiFi connection is kind of odd because only certain sites/apps will load properly and others will not connect at all.Overall, these issues didn’t stop us from having a good time, but with some updates and regular maintenance, this property could be excellent.

Stayed Jul 25, 2025The cottage was big enough to accommodate a large group of 14 adults with enough washrooms for all of us to share at a great price. However, while we appreciated the price we did find that the house was not cleaned well when we entered even though we waited half an hour for the cleaning crew to leave. In addition, the keurig coffee machine was not working and there were many bugs in the basement level at night even though all the doors and windows were closed.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Good place to gather families, big living room for meals! I slept at basement bedroom without air-con, it was a little bit hot and I needed to open my room door a bit to get some fresh air from corridor!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969This cottage was absolutely perfect for our large family gathering and it had every amenity we’d needed. The space and its bathrooms were clean, it had ample room to sleep and do group activities, the kitchen and cooking facilities were well equipped and easy to access, and the volleyball court made for extra fun! The highlight of this spot is its short distance to Sauble Beach and other local amenities! Thanks to the hosts and Grey Bruce Cottages for being incredibly accommodating with our booking process and making check-in and check-out smooth. I’d recommend 3 Sugarbush to anyone looking for a stay in the Wiarton area - this place is amazing!

Stayed Nov 24, 2023We travel with my family and my friends. The house was the perfect size everyone had their own space. They have 7 bedrooms. If you're looking for peace and quiet then this is the place! The cottage was spotlessly clean, secure, comfortable and cosy. A large kitchen if you like cooking and dining area for a large groups, & two spacious living rooms to hangout, high-speed WiFi, and all the essentials you could want. We had everything we needed. They have a complimentary goodies. That’s awesome! Not all cottage have that!They have property guidebooks which is very helpful. We had a wonderful stay in this house! Would highly recommend.
