Slopeside is just steps to Beech Mountain Resort and Ski Village! Amazing Views!

Lovely cabin, had a musty oder, no one had been there in a while, couldn't figure how to open the fold out couch. Some other minir things. The vuew was gorgeous, would stay there again.

Although our plans changed last minute and I could not go, the host was very quick to respond and offered a free night with a future 2-night booking. We will be back and look forward to a future stay at this cabin.

We had a great stay! Check in/out info was very straightforward and easily accessible. Kitchen has a lot of extras such as an espresso machine and spice cabinet and the beds were comfy! Loved that we could use Netflix, Prime, etc without having to log into our accounts. Appreciated the short, hassle free check out list as well.Though classified as ski in/out, the house is about a 5 min walk from slopes. We wanted to use an extra blanket in the closet but quickly realized it hadn’t been washed (along with the other throws). Also couldn’t find the off switch for some of the outdoor lights that shine in at night.

Our host was very welcoming and responsive to all questions. We were able to walk with our ski/snowboard equipment to the lodge and lifts and never had to get in the car all weekend.

Great communication, very clear instructions & an amazing location! The house had every amenity we needed and the view over looking Ski Beech was beautiful. Refer to the owner’s Guest Manual for the best local restaurants, breweries, shopping and more.

Very and very helpful.

Had trouble with fireplace and oven working and there was no room in bear cage to put trash. The host was quick to respond but unfortunately still could not get the fireplace to turn on or oven to work properly for Thanksgiving meal. Thankfully, the stove top worked well. The views and location were terrific.

Very clean home, fantastic for the family with things to do for kids of varying ages. Beautiful location with fantastic views of the mountain. Had a wonderful stay!

We enjoyed our stay at Slopeside! The beds on the main floor were great, while the beds in the bunkroom were just okay per one of our guests.As our activities were mostly on the other side of banner elk, it was a little far - especially considering the twisty roads, and at night. The host was great - very communicative and cordial. I would note the loft is not a private room per say, so if you wanted 4 couples to stay at the cottage, it might not be the ideal choice.

Really enjoyed staying during Party on the Mountain music festival. Phenomenal location in relation to the resort. Communication was prompt and thorough.

Everything was good and clean, good little weekend getaway.

Very happy with this house. We were there for a bike race, and walking out the back door to the very short walk to the finish line on the slopes was perfect!The house was cozy, beds were comfy, and the big windows in the living room were amazing! The owners were very easy to communicate with.My only advise would be to add barstools to the high bar so you can sit and talk to people in the kitchen.

The views from the entire house are beautiful. The home is furnished perfectly and all the beds are really comfortable and the lay out works really well. Main bedrooms on the main floor and bunks upstairs. Can't wait to stay here again! And - the Lodge and rentals are 100 yards from the back stairs!

Location: 5/5 House: 4.5/5 - well maintained, a bit dated (you can see this from the pictures that are accurate), moderate kitchen stock and supplies.Host: 5/5 - easy to communicate with and very responsive.

The place was amazing—warm, inviting, and in a great location. The rental process went smoothly, and I can't wait to return.

If you are accustomed to a true ski-in/ski out....this is not for you. We traditionally stay directly on the slopes and ski directly out the backdoor. So this home posed many obstacles for us.

Our group had a wonderful extended weekend here! We were able to leave our skis at the bottom of the stairs and effectively have ski in/ski out to the slopes. Having such easy access made such a difference in how much we got to ski! The kitchen was a joy to use between the wonderful views and high quality cookware - a rare luxury in vacation rentals. The kids made great use of the huge snow-covered deck, did plenty of sledding at the base of the hill, and enjoyed the thoughtful toys and games in the loft area on rare breaks from playing outside. Check in and check out were extremely easy (a blessing for those of us traveling with young children!) We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a mountain getaway!

We’ve been coming to Beech for NYE celebrations for a few years now but this time we were a bigger group. Slopeside was a great location, clean, conveniently close to the slopes and with very attentive hosts. Really enjoyed brand new pans in the kitchen! Hope to be back soon.

What an amazing house! The location to everything is great. It was such an easy check in process. The view is amazing and the owners were great to deal with. We made great memories celebrating my son’s 18th birthday there. Highly recommend it to anybody looking to stay.
