9 Bedroom 8 Bath Rustic Chalet. This home is great for large gatherings. Perfect spot for large groups who like to spend a lot of time outdoors. This home offers no bells or whistles and older finishes which our rates reflect.

Great for outdoor enthusiasts as we have trails and skiing right near our home!

Our Home:
Recently refreshed with new carpet, paint, and flooring, this homeis a treasured piece of Winter Park history. Originally operating as a Bed & Breakfast dating back to the 1970s, it still carries that warm, traditional alpine lodge charm you’ll immediately feel upon arrival at Pines Lodge.
Our home offers ski-in access, allowing you to return directly to the property at the end of your day on the slopes when conditions permit (typically late November through April). For morning lift access, guests enjoy a short 5–10 minute walk to the nearby resort shuttle stop, which provides convenient transportation to the base area. As with all mountain properties, ski access can vary depending on snowfall and grooming throughout the season.

Layout:
Basement level offers game room, bedroom with queen and twin over full bunk bed, and full bathroom.

Main level offers kitchen, 2 living areas, 1 queen bedroom with ensuite bath.

Upstairs offers 3 queen bedrooms, 2 bedrooms with 2 full beds, and 1 twin bedroom. There are also 6 bathrooms on this level, giving plenty of space for everyone!

All Winter Park House properties come stocked with a basic starter package of paper towels, toilet paper, hand/body soap, conditioning shampoo, dish soap, sponge and dishwasher detergent (this is a 3–4-night supply, guests may purchase additional products locally). Each home is equipped with high-end bed linens and towels.

Kitchens are stocked with a coffee maker (Keurig and standard), cookware, bakeware, dishes, glasses, utensils and small appliances.

House Rules
1.) Please respect our county wide quiet time hours are 9 pm to 7 am. Our county does fine for violations and that will be at your expense.
2.) No events of any kind permitted at anytime. Violations will result in immediate eviction and $1500 fine.
3.) No outdoor fires are permitted at anytime.
4.) No more than our stated allowed number of 8 vehicles total at our home. No on-street parking allowed at anytime. Our HOA does fine and tow and you will be responsible for any fine incurred.
5.) All of our rentals are non-smoking. By renting this home, you are stating that you will not smoke in our vacation rentals. You will loose your deposit if evidence of smoke is found once you check out.
6.) You and your guest are using our home at your own risk. We nor the owner of the property will be held responsible for any injuries that occur at the vacation rental or for any lost or stolen items.
7.) No boats or trailers are to be parked at our rental properties. Any fines from the home owner association, as a result of this broken rule, will be charged to the refundable deposit.

Our home is equipped with noise/smoke sensors. Exterior cameras are also present.

    The Home was huge for a large group of people and has nice common areas. The location is perfect for a nice and quiet time away from the noise and chaos. Vannessa Burns was great in communicating with. We had a great time.

    Do not rent this place! There are electrical problems! 4 rooms downstairs had no heat and no lights in the bathrooms except a floor lamp that flickered and didn’t reach inside the bathroom! I’m pretty sure floor lamps are hazards in bathrooms. The showers and tips were nasty and stained. One lady flipped her light switch on and sparks flew out and she got shocked. Another lady fell all the way down the stairs which are barely wide enough for a child’s foot. There are nails sticking out of where it should be trim work in door frame. Garbage was strewn around back door and property. Holes in walls and stains and leaks in ceilings. I wish there was a place to post pics because I have plenty. We called right after checking in and told the manager the condition was sub par and absolutely a no go! They argued with us for awhile but finally said they would talk to the owner the next day. This house is extremely overpriced and dangerous! We left and found another very nice house that would accommodate all 8 of us for much less.

    Super attentive host. 9 rooms so nearly everyone gets their own bathroom. Large family room and the whole place has character. Good value

    Really nice for what we needed it for. Big reunion of a bunch of friends for a birthday. Really kind of nice that it wasn't to glitz and glam so we could just focus on having fun. I do wish it was cleaned a little better and that the drain for the tubs were nor clogged in the master. The description for the ski in should also clarify that the trail back in is not walkable up hill. Probably close to 3/4 of a mile of deep heavy snow. It's only a half mile walk to the main base area though. Overall enjoyed my stay and would likely come back eoth the expectation of the house keeping issues being resolved.

    This home had so many different spaces for our large family to spread out in! It is an interesting layout but it really works great! There are three different living/hang out areas which makes it awesome if you’re spending a few days with a lot of people! The rooms were nice and spread out and we loved the boot/entry room. Great for getting gear on before heading to the mountain. You can ski down from the resort if you know the mountain which was really nice! Don’t try this if you are not shown how to get to the ski down trail. The heat was a little finicky in one of the rooms but they had plenty of extra heaters that worked great to keep all the rooms warm. Kitchen had everything you would need to cook and feed a large family like ours of 16! The ovens were a little hard to get going but with how amazing the property manager was we figured it out immediately. The coffee pot didn’t work when we checked in and they had one dropped off brand new within 30 minutes of contacting them! This place was a true gem to find and we are lucky we got to stay so close to the mountain with all of us together.
