Stayed Sep 5, 2024The cottage was large enough to host our family of nine for a few days. There was plenty of room for everyone to sleep and the kitchen large enough for everyone to move around. The place did have a lot of spiders that we cleaned out on our first night. Unfortunately we had a lot of rain so it was difficult to enjoy the outside during our stay. It’s a nice short drive to Wiarton so getting groceries was easy. We also needed to call to get the house stocked with things promised in the booking such as dish soap and dish washer detergent.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Our family thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful cottage. The 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms worked well for our family of 6 adults, a toddler and a baby. The kitchen facilities were plentiful, however we could've used some cupboard space for our bread, snacks and other dry goods. The keurig machine needs to be checked as well as the patio door that wouldn't slide without much muscle. (Silicone required?) Plenty of outdoor space, gorgeous surroundings, lots of sun and shade. The steps between the upper and lower grounds were a little precarious - uneven and always wet, as well as the one section of upper paved sidewalk. Enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boat and the fire pit! Our questions were answered punctually and we appreciated the earlier arrival time! The welcome gifts were a nice touch (and appreciated), but really, not necessary - perhaps just one item would be enough and still give that welcoming feeling. Overall my kids said it was the nicest cottage I'd rented and they'd love to go there again.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Quiet get away with day trips close by.... family fun paddle boating and kayaking too. The accommodations were well suited for us (six adults and two kids)

Stayed Jun 28, 2024It was nice of a stay and excellent facilities with huge spacious rooms, living etc. Kayaks and Paddle boats are present and you can roam around in the Water body. Kids enjoyed a lot. We enjoyed the Welcome note and the Wine.

Stayed May 17, 2024My family loved the space, especially our dog. There is a large back yard where he was able to run around. Everything needed was provided and clean. The view was beautiful and there are many places close by like the grocery which was just a 6 min drive. Highly recommended for a nice vacation.
