Scenic Solitude off the beaten path near Estes Park/Rocky Mountain National Park

It was a very nice trip and a lovely home; hosts were responsive and flexible. Property was a tad more remote than I expected per the description and wonderful if you want to get away from it all and unplug. We did have access to internet and TV as desired, (for teenagers wants/needs). I would recommend to anyone wanting a place to connect with family and relax.

We had a wonderful family weekend at this property. Communication with the host was excellent with quick responses. House was clean and comfortable, property was beautiful. The drive up the mountain is not for the faint of heart but definitely worth it! Would absolutely stay here again!

This home has the most beautiful views no matter if it was morning or evening. A very quiet area. I would recommend this home to anyone and everyone. The homeowners were amazing people to chat with. The home had all the necessities you could ever need. Very clean home. Gave a warm and inviting feeling from the moment you walked in. 10 stars all the way.

Great vacation home at an affordable price. Communication with owner was easy. Privacy at the home was disappointing. There were some things/rules that could have been made more clear before our arrival. The house is very clean and comfortable but could be a little better stocked as far as kitchen basics.

Beautiful property! The kids thanked me for picking such an awesome house after exploring for just a few minutes. Tons of things inside the house to keep the kids entertained and the adults loved the views and spending time out on the deck.

We enjoyed the stay in Drake. Beautiful home over looking the mountains. We took walks over to the local pond which had beautiful views as well. The house was full of thing to do, games, pool table, ping pong, and a cool movie room. Sitting on the deck looking into the mountains was wonderful. Not too far from town Estes.

Nice house and location.

From the moment we began our drive up to this magical location, I knew we had chosen well. What a peaceful and serene spot to remove yourself from all of the activities of our everyday lives. Mark & Sarah have created such a fantastic place for everyone to enjoy! Our younger family members really enjoyed the pool table, theatre & all of the games. The porch is incredible, with stunning views and cool breezes at night. The star gazing was spectacular. Thank you making us so comfortable in your home. Mark was so quick to answer any questions we had. We truly found a gem.

This property is a wonderful place for a family. We came for my grandson’s wedding. It accommodated our family with ease. Every kitchen need is met.

Peaceful clean and very well maintained! Visits from deer and turkey throughout the weekend! Was great to get away from the hustle of town and just have a nice clean quiet place to relax!

We had a group of 7 (5 adults and 2 teenagers) and had a wonderful stay in this beautiful home. Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park are just 20-30 minutes away, and there is a small town about 10-15 minutes away, Glen Haven, with a general store that serves wine, beer, souvenirs, local arts and crafts, and good cinnamon rolls, ice cream, pie and sandwiches. While at the cabin, we enjoyed playing ping pong, chess, pool, and watched a movie in the movie room (which has a great sound system). The kids stayed in the movie room while the adults stayed in the other 3 bedrooms. Plenty of room for all of us to spread out, and also come together to play and enjoy the beautiful scenery from the large deck. Mark was very responsive to our questions and was a fabulous host. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Wonderful place. Lovely views. Friendly neighbors. Lots for the children and adults to do. Great time was had by all. Host was extremely responsive and helpful.

We really enjoyed our stay. Everything was exactly as we could have hoped for. The property was very well maintained and thorough directions were placed throughout the house to make things very easy. I will echo what others have mentioned, through no fault of the owner, the neighbor's dogs are very loud at times. Otherwise, we would absolutely stay here again.

The place was amazing! We stayed with our kids and grandkids. We loved the drive up the mountain to the house. Everyone loved the movie room, pool table and ping pong. The cell and Wi-Fi service was good for us, there was spotty areas in Big Thompson Canyon drive but didn’t bother us since we were wanting more of a get away. Would like to stay again.

This place is beautiful! The games (ping pong, giant jenga, pool) were a huge hit with the teenagers. The house is really clean and well maintained. The neighbors were closer than we expected.

We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The house was spacious and clean and it had everything we needed. Mark was an attentive and gracious host. As city dwellers, we were amazed at how quiet the property was (except for an extremely vocal rooster somewhere nearby :)). We watched hummingbirds fly around the huge picture windows, and a small herd of deer snacked in the front yard one morning. It was a wonderful experience and we hope to stay again someday.
