Come to the Riversong Chalet Retreat and breathe in the peace and tranquility of nature overlooking the white waters of the Snoqualmie River's most southern fork. This charming Chalet has been updated to make for a comfortable and inviting get-a-way! Situated just across from the Palouse to Cascades Trail and nestled in a canopy of evergreens, it is the perfect spot to meditate, read, write, paint or satisfy your hunger to hike, kayak, bike, golf, or ski.

The Chalet has soaring ceilings matched by sweeping views of the boulder-filled, foamy whitewater river and towering fir, aspen, cedar, and hemlock. Eagle and Osprey fish happily here, while Mallards and Heron have also claimed the river for sunning and fishing. Elk, deer, and squirrel can be seen and lend to the feeling of blending with nature. Although located just minutes from I-90, once on the property, you'll feel a million miles away.

The downstairs bedroom is fitted with a queen Tempurpedic mattress. The upstairs loft bedroom has a four-poster with a firmer queen mattress with memory foam toppers for extra comfortable rest. There is also a single sleigh bed in the loft for a child or extra guest. The loft is 400 sq. feet, so there is plenty of room for the cots located in the closet for extra little sleepers! (5 Adults Max) (**Note: There is also a PacknPlay located in the upstairs closet if needed)

The home is cozy and charming with ambient lighting, a spiral staircase to the upper loft, wood floors, and a cushioned porch swing overlooking the river. There is a small bistro table, extra chairs, and a propane BBQ on the deck. ( ***Please do not allow play on the staircase)

We are located 10 minutes from the Snoqualmie Casino, which features world-class dining and entertainment! The town of North Bend is the home of the legendary Twin Peaks filming and Twedes Cafe, where memorabilia abound. Twin Falls St. Park, Mt. Si and trails, Rattlesnake Lake and hiking trails, and the Palouse to Cascade Trail are all within either walking or biking distance or minutes by car. Snoqualmie Pass ski slopes are just fifteen minutes east! We have supplied games and books, TV with Xfinity and internet, and a hearth to warm yourself and loved ones by.

Get past a writer's block, rest from the city's chaos, or just come to have a welcome change of pace! This comfortable nest will be a delight to arrive at and hard to leave!
Tip: Unload car to front deck. Remove your outdoor shoes to bench or handy rack on deck and slip on clean shoes. Then load in! So remember to bring some slippers or slip on shoes!

We stayed at this cabin in February for a family trip. The location is beautiful and the home itself is fine and well-situated.However, our experience with the host after checkout was disappointing. Upon arrival, we found the bathroom had not been thoroughly cleaned (hair in the tub and on the floor). We chose not to raise it during our stay and simply cleaned it ourselves. After checkout, the host contacted us regarding minor items such as trash not being taken out, a few towels left near the bath, and furniture that had been moved slightly to accommodate our young children. We acknowledged forgetting to take out the trash and apologized. The other items described as “overturned furniture” were, in our view, minor adjustments (e.g., moving a chair or ottoman for child safety). What was most concerning was the tone of the communication. The exchange escalated unnecessarily and ultimately included a personal remark about parenting that felt inappropriate and unprofessional. While we understand hosts have expectations, respectful and constructive communication goes a long way.We have rented many vacation homes over the years and have never experienced this type of post-stay interaction. Future guests may want to be extremely mindful of checkout procedures and document the condition of the home upon arrival.

We had the most wonderful time staying at this chalet. It was so cozy inside with literally everything you could need. The place is the definition of tranquility! Just a couple homes from a dead end street which makes it so quiet and peaceful, the only sound is the river which is beautiful. Very nice neighbors too. The back deck was our favorite spot! It is large, spanning the whole back of the chalet and makes you feel like you are literally on the river. There is a trail for walking or biking nearby as well as many hikes. It was the perfect size for just the 2 of us but there are beds for 5. The bed we slept in was super comfy. The hosts were available and quick to respond if needed. We also had a great time exploring the cute towns of North Bend and Snoqualmie as well as so many other places in the great PNW. Very clean, well stocked and easy check in/out. We cannot wait to come back and stay again and highly recommend it. We stayed for a month:)

RiverSong Chalet appears to be an ideal blend of comfort, convenience, and nature for a family stay—particularly with a toddler, infant, and small dog. It strikes a balance between coziness and functionality without breaking your budget.

Very nice with the deck right on river. Well stocked with the things we needed. Hosts replied to messages immediately. Very peaceful. Only negative was the couch and could have used a couple more deck chairs. I would recommend this property to others and definitely stay again.

This was our 10th(!) stay at Riversong so that probably says enough. We love everything about it. Flannel sheets, spice rack in the kitchen, fly fishing in the river, close to SO MANY activities and even the big city if you care (sometimes but not always). We’ve been here winter and summer and it’s special every time.

My adult son said “I’ve never felt so luxurious. “I stayed here with my two children and we enjoyed this place for the view. It was a quiet little getaway place that was close to everything- even though you felt like you were really remote.

Our family of four had a lovely stay to celebrate a milestone birthday. Our hosts went above and beyond and even put up birthday decorations in advance! We especially loved that the property was directly on the river and thoroughly enjoyed cozying up next to the fireplace at night. Highly recommend!

This property is beautiful! The driveway is tucked between big tall trees, with a lovely little pebble path to the front of the cottage - absolutely charming! It's almost the last house on the road, and feels quiet. The house itself has a cabin-like atmosphere, and impressive huge windows and sliding glass door that face the back of the house directly above the river! Quiet on the inside, but if you step out onto the huge back porch, the river is loud, with beautiful forest all around. I loved sitting on the porch, or when it was drizzly and cold sitting inside and enjoying the tremendous view right outside the windows! There is a spiral staircase that our kids thought was the epidomy of cool (I wouldn't want babies/toddlers here), but the living room seating leaves a little to be desired. The kitchen was well stocked, and the gas fireplace was super cozy! My one qualm was the requirement to wash the dishes, dry AND put them away before we leave. This is a lot to juggle. Easy to start a dishwasher, but being expected to coordinate drying and putting away dishes before departure is asking a lot compared to other rentals. However, it was worth the stay here for sure, and I would definitely book it again. Lots of cool hikes and waterfalls just 10 minutes in multiple directions! We could've spent a week in that amazing area!

My family and here stayed the weekend to get away from the city and enjoy some quality time. Many hours were spent around the fire pit and at the grill. We loved spending time amongst the trees with the river flowing in the background. The house warms quickly and is very cozy to get together downstairs and watch tv. Kitchen was well stocked with the equipment we needed to cook with. Would definitely visit again.

Very cute and cozy cabin on the South Fork River. Super quiet and tucked behind huge cedar trees. Location is close to North Bend amenities and the Summit at Snoqualmie for tubing, skiing and snowboarding. We enjoyed hearing the river at night that lulled us to sleep. We wished that the weather had afforded us the opportunity to hang out on the deck overlooking the river, but the view from inside was stunning.

We had my nephews wedding at the North Fork Farms venue. This VRBO was close to the event, but mostly we loved how relaxing it was to stay here. Being so close to the beautiful river and forest surroundings made this stay fun and relaxing. The neighbors were friendly and made us feel like we have known each other for a while. I would stay here again if I ever needed a place to stay in North Bend WA.

Overall was very good. However tub and bathroom sink backed up creating a pool of water that slowly drained. Smoke alarm in bedroom - Battery died. I replaced with one I found in a drawer. It was also dead.

The LOCATION is perfect if you are running the Tunnel Vision Marathon!!! The house is located .7 mile from the finish line. It’s a short walk to the intersection of the race course trail, and then turn right onto the trail and it’s a short way to the finish line. So good—because there’s no parking at the finish. (Your other option is to get bussed back to your car at the start.) This is a very clever work-around. Good for spectators too—since view points along the remote trail are limited. I went to Mt Washington trailhead at mile 16.4, then drove back to the chalet and walked to the finish. ✅ Yes this cute chalet on the river is as gorgeous as the photos show! The kitchen could be better supplied with new pots & pans and plastic storage containers for leftovers, nicer drinking glasses, fresh cupboard basics like olive oil, etc. Cushions on the wooden dining chairs would be welcome. Whoever sleeps on the bed in the loft needs to be a tall & nimble person OR able to climb up on the bench at foot of the bed, to get up on top of the bed—it’s very tall. It worked for us but may not for those with any mobility issues. And note the spiral staircase too. Overall a beautiful quiet location with calming views of the river flanked by pine trees. Hosts are very nice to work with and respond quickly to messages and questions. Don’t miss this charming place! Book it!
