Repeat Retreat — Your Place to Come Back To!

From the moment we arrived, the house was extremely cold. The heating system was very complicated, with multiple thermostats and wall controls in each room. Despite following the provided instructions, the baseboard heaters did not work, kept turning off & we had to wear multiple layers indoors.The fireplace repeatedly turned back on after being set to off. When I contacted the host for assistance, she told me to read the pamphlet despite me explaining we already had.Later that evening, after I politely reached out again regarding the heat, the host arrived within five minutes without notice or permission and barged into the house around 9 PM, frightening the children in the basement. She came upstairs yelling about who was texting her and insisted the house was not cold despite coming in from outside wearing winter clothing. She pushed past me to check the heater and then realized it was not working.Before leaving, I told her she could not enter without notice. She replied, “This is my house. I can do whatever I want.” She left without apologizing and appeared to be under the influence of alcohol. This violated our privacy and made us feel unsafe for the rest of the stay.The next morning we could not shower because the pipes were frozen, showing the home was not properly prepared for guests. Additionally, the dishwasher, refrigerator water dispenser, toaster did not work. The carpets were old &dirty for the price paid. Door would lock Overall, this stay was 0

Smaller then expected & very close to other houses & right on main road, which didn’t show in pics! FYI…1 wine glass broke in dishwasher. Couldn’t lock door with keypad when we’re leaving. Assume the code was already changed.

House was fun and comfortable. Wasn’t expecting the spiral staircase but I was able to manage. Kids loved the game room and bunk beds and the deer in the back yard. Next time we will bring more fruits and veggies for the deer. Parking for 4 cars would be tight luckily we only had 3. Communication with host Amy was excellent!

Bigger than the pictures! Super clean and comfortable! Great views and perfect for families to enjoy relaxing with fire,games and bar. We had the best time!

Great place to stay, the downstairs game room was great to entertain! Upstairs was nice to lounge around with the fireplace.. all the bedroom was nice and clean. The only down fall was hard to find a spot to fish if you don’t have lake front property at the lake here. But would definitely come again!!! The host always responds back in a reasonable time ..

It was a wonderful family weekend. Walk to restaurants. The house was beautiful and clean. Amy the host was the best. Check in was a breeze. We enjoyed the fire pit and waterfall outback, and great views of the lake. Definitely an awesome place.

The property was great for what we were looking for. There are some great restaurants/bars within walking distance and the domesticated deer in the area will stop by the back patio to say hi. The living room area and lower level area are a little dated and some of the patio/walkway pavers need reset, but overall this is a fantastic place to stay at Lake Harmony.

Overall the place was good, it was cozy, clean, and generally well outfitted. The back patio area was very lovely, and we made good use of the pool table and games in the basement. It had some quirks about it like the some of the appliances didn’t work well or were somewhat broken. Also the outdoor photos were misleading, as someone who hadn’t been to the area before I was expecting it to be more remote and not right on a busy(ish) road. Theres not an actual hot tub which it says in the small print of the listing after digging through, but I didn’t know that until I arrived. I think if the listing was slightly adjusted to be more honest - it would have been a 5 out of 5 for me.

We took our grandson away for a few days and it we really had a good time. We loved that we could fish and put our kayaks in the lake within walking distance of the house. This home had everything we needed and our grandson really loved the game room! The master bedroom was beautiful! Thank you for a great stay!

The property is very cool. Ski lodge style house with a very fun, well equipped rec room, a beautiful master bedroom, a nice sized kitchen, a deck with water views, and a patio with a waterfall. Our hosts were very responsive and very helpful when we had a special request (that they were under no obligation to fulfill). The location is perfect.

Best thing is the location - a short walk to a few different places to eat. The game room was enjoyable but the foosball table and pool table are not in the best condition. Makes it seem like the pictures online were taken 10 years ago and haven’t been updated to reflect the current conditions. That being said we felt the house was priced accordingly, especially for the location. Overall we had a great time and the house played a big part of it.

Our family had a great time. This house had all the utensils, comfort, and amenities we needed. It was a relaxing and fun weekend.

Great location near the lake. Big house with a cabin feel and plenty of room to spread out. Nice yard as well.

The house was definitely as advertised. We had plenty of space for everyone. The kids enjoyed hanging out in the game room. Everything was great. The location was perfect as we were skiing/snowboarding at Jack Frost and Big Boulder. We would definitely stay again.

Great place for qet away weekend. Place was as listed. Ameneties were nice and well stocked. Lots of games and activities for the group. Great location for local restaurants and attracts.

I did not know it was a private lake and that there was only one access point to enter the lake or to walk down and be on the lake. There were several excellent restaurants all in walking distance, we had a wonderful relaxing weekend.

Amy was amazing and very attentive through the whole process. Location was great and we had a good time.
