Everything about the house was as advertised. The house was clean. Everything was in order. The homeowners were responsive to all our questions. We would stay again! The only issue was the slow check in at the gate house which is not the owner's fault! The line was 20 people long and they only had a few people working. It took over a half hour to check in. Get to the gate house early!

½ (4.5/5 stars)If you’re looking for a peaceful lakeside getaway, this is it! The bathrooms and kitchen are nicely updated, and the home was clean and well-stocked with thoughtful touches like toiletries, slippers, air fryer, toaster, beach towels and regular towels, coffee makers, and incredibly comfortable beds, pillows, and comforters (and I’m picky with bedding!). We loved having a washer/dryer, dishwasher, kayaks, a small dock, and a fire pit with chairs. The water is very shallow (under one foot) until closer to the middle of the lake, with some sharp objects at the bottom (wear shoes!), so it’s not ideal for swimming, which we had really hoped for—but good for relaxing, kayaking, and even fishing for small fish right off the small dock. We also had some beautiful sunsets over the lake! There’s a pool in the development but it has a pricey daily cost, so we didn’t use that. The owner was quick to respond. Camelbeach water park was close by for a fun day as well. Thank you!

This place was so relaxing! From the views, the ease of the check in and out process, the communications from the host and the amenities around. Would definitely stay here again

Communication with the hosts was seamless and easy. Getting into the property was also easy as we were provided a code for keyless entry. The property has 3 large bedrooms with comfortable beds and nice sheets. The bathrooms were also nicely equipped. The common spaces and kitchen felt neglected by comparison- old, teflon cooking pots, dirty dishes and cutlery, worn appliances like a toaster that smelled like burning plastic when turned on, and no water filter for drinking water when the tap smelled strongly of chlorine. There was also a very bad leak in the laundry room which gave the whole house a strong smell of mold. Additionally, the kayaks, which were a big reason we rented this particular property, were left turned right side up and full of frozen water that took two days to thaw. Overall, the property has a lot of potential but certainly needs the loving touch it appears to have once been provided.
