Nice property centrally located close to Sugar Mountain resort, Grand Father Mountain, Alpine Coaster, Tubing. Good responsive host with tips to make trip even better. Future travelers make sure to read booklet in the cocktail table. It has several nuggets about the are. We enjoyed our stay with the family. Thank you host Ralph.

The Moose Lodge was a perfect family mountain retreat for our 10 person family ages 13-80! We celebrated Thanksgiving together and the kitchen was ready for Such a meal. We loved movie nights by the cozy fire and game nights downstairs on the ping pong/pool table. Plenty of room! The community was already decorated for Christmas and we picked up a tree on the way out of town. Ralph was a very attentive host and made us feel very welcome. Note- the hot tub is actually a jacuzzi bathtub. Highly recommend- we would love to return!

Our family gathered for a memorial for our grandparents. Several families booked other vrbo properties and this was a great place for a central hub. The living room, dining room, kitchen area are cozy with a great fireplace overlooking a beautiful view of the woods and lake. The deck was great with a fire pit. Everything we needed was supplied for us. It’s a great location to get to attractions near grandfather mountain, Linville, Falls, and Boone. Ralph was very responsive and accommodating. This was our families second stay here and we would definitely stay again.

This home met our needs wonderfully for our ski trip. Great location for Ski Beech and Sugar Mtn ski resorts.

We loved this rustic mountain home. It was very spacious and warm. After a long day of skiing it was so nice to come back to. The host Ralph was so attentive. He went above and beyond to make sure we were happy.

The place was perfect for our family and the owners were very attentive and accommodating.

This house has everything you are looking for for the perfect mountain getaway including one of the most attentive hosts we’ve ever had even through the Thanksgiving holiday. Pool table and ping pong table are fun for hours plenty of games a ton of space and everything else you can think of in between. I can’t think of a better place to be with family and friends for the holiday. Pics do not do this place justice go check it out for yourself you will thank me later.

We had the best property owner. Easy instructions to follow, plenty of towels, everything! Love the view, close to restaurants, beautiful weather. Thank you for an accurate detail of the house. I'll will use VRBO again.
