MAZOT DE CHARME IN THE CENTER OF SAMOENS .GRAND COMFORT AND LUXURY, 2 persons

Had a fantastic week in Mazot De Charme. It is perfectly sized for two people, well equipped, nice and warm and stylishly decorated. Comes with dedicated parking space and is well positioned for good access to the centre of Samoens and the free bus service to the ski lifts along the valley. This was our first time in Samoens and the mazot added to a great experience and we hope to be back at some point in the future.

The Mazot is a charming property which has been tastefully decorated and loved the wood fired hot tub. Set near to Samoens, a great base to explore the region, Annecy, Let Gets, Morzine and Chamonix, would thoroughly recommend.

Very clear and friendly communication with owner. We loved our stay at Le Mazot. Very thoughtfully furnished and has all necessary facilities for great stay. Relaxing in the hot tub was a highlight.

The mozat is very sweet. The kitchen and bathroom have been finished to the highest standard and area a suitable size for 2 people. The location was perfect, a 2 minute walk to the village, which was great in the mornings for going to the bakery for breakfast. Ample parking as well with is own private driveway. The only downside for us was the size of the sofa. The both of us could not comfortably sit on it at the same time as it was a si gel seater that folded out into a single bed. Apart from that it was a very pleasant stay.

The mazot is great, and a much nicer alternative to the hotels and group chalets in Samoens. We loved that it had a rustic, romantic haute-savoie feel, with very modern kitchen and bathroom. Starting from a perfect 10/10 I would advise potential guests only of the following: - Bedroom is upstairs under a wooden roof. If it rains it is noisy on the roof. Some people find this relaxing, some distracting - Stairs are narrow and steep. Fine for most people, ourselves includes, but maybe not for small children or very old people? - Bathroom is part of the wooden fabric of the home and steam does not escape well, so it can smell damp Ultimately if we were to travel to Samoens again I wouldn't hesitate to re-book.

We stayed here recently for 4 nights as part of our honeymoon. The mazot is small but perfectly formed. All of the appliances and the bathroom etc are to a very high standard. It has everything you could need in it too. The hot tub was lovely, although you do have to be very patient on the first day (I think it took about 4 hours to get up to temperature). The town of Samoens is lovely with some great bakeries, cafes, bars, restaurants and shops. It's only a few minutes walk into the centre and the supermarket is a few minutes drive away too. The only negative for us was the bed was too firm and I woke up each day with a sore back/neck. But other than that, a lovely stay, thank you!

We loved our time at the mazot - it has spectacular views across the valley and beautiful cosy decor inside. Just a short 5 minute walk into the centre of the village, and Carreforre was just a short drive away. Philippe was a great host and the mazot was very well equipped with everything you could need for self catering and a good dishwasher. The place is very modern inside, and the hot tub was a fantastic place to relax each evening. Loved our trip and will definitely be returning as soon as we can!
