Massanutten Chalet

Nice property. Clean, responsive owner, appreciated the little extras. We had 6 people staying and there was plenty of room. Would stay here again.

Beautiful home and in close proximity to Massanutten Ski Resort!!

The house was great for our family of 6. There was plenty of room and it was close to everything we wanted to explore. The only thing that would make it more convenient is to have a washer/dryer available in the house (we were visiting the water park).

Great cabin! We enjoyed our stay very much. It was a little chilly upstairs. More extra blankets would have been appreciated.

The host was very responsive and the place was great. Our kids loved the games that were here. the rooms and beds were very comfortable as well. The snowstorm hit this weekend and she made sure we had flashlights and portable space heaters just in case. Would highly recommend and will be coming back in the future.!!

Nice cozy and clean place

The place is very cozy and probably the cleanest rental we’ve ever stayed in. We also appreciated the super organized kitchen, kids’ toys and games, and the shower essentials provided for us. Perfect!

Great property in a nice resort community. Was an excellent home base for our Shenandoah National Park trip. The house is very thoughtfully set up with many amenities. Kitchen is fully functional with almost anything you might need. Would highly recommend!

We had an excellent stay and made some great memories at Massanutten with friends. Amanda was fabulous from beginning to end. We couldn't of asked for a better host. She even went above and beyond providing items such as snacks, toiletries etc. The mattresses were so comfortable and location was perfect. We cannot waig to stay again!

We enjoyed our stay and the house was clean and well organized. The only complaint was a musty smell but it improved when we turned on the AC upon arrival.

We traveled from Massachusetts to visit our daughter who is a Freshman at JMU. Amanda quickly responded through the inquiry, booking, and checkout process. This home is nestled in the mountain in a lovely neighborhood community. This home is located 15-20 minutes South of JMU, and the Shenandoah National Park is easily accessible. We had a great stay at the chalet with our extended family. It was the perfect size for us. We really loved the living area and all the windows! There were toys for the kids, kitchen was stocked well, rooms were good size, comfortable beds. My daughter’s stuffy got forgotten and Amanda went out of her way to get it back to us! So appreciate her care of our family!!

Check in was easy. Clean inside but outside needed some attention. Location is close to nearby city for convenience. If you enjoy nature you will love this place. This was a good place for my family retreat.

This was our first VRBO rental and it was a great experience. The house was the right size for us four adults. It was clean, well-furnished and so very quiet. The air conditioning worked well. It was close to all the places we wanted to go to - Shenandoah National Park, Skyline Drive, Luray Caverns, Harrisonburg, restaurants, wineries, and breweries. The owner communicated well and allowed us to charge our EV. A very positive experience.
