We are a large group of varied ages from 2-62 and this house was extremely comfortable for all. There was more than one family room so if some were watching football, others could be in the other room. Another full bathroom would have been great, but everything worked out just fine. In the future, it would be helpful to let those staying in the house to know if the attached apartment were rented, and perhaps assign driveway spots if it is.
We very much enjoyed our stay at this very nice large home, which really is right on the ski trail. We were able to ski in and out, just as the property description says. The rooms were all comfortable, and spread throughout the house, grouped in ways that are convenient for an extended family get-together. The access road to the house is pretty steep, and might be a difficulty if it was snowing, but it was not snowing for us, so we didn't have any trouble. The landlord was very helpful and always responded to questions promptly.
We loved our stay for a reunion between family friends… it was super kid friendly and very comfortable for everyone. Dave was great and easy check in process!
It was a really nice a pleasant stay. The house clean, comfortable and well equipped The location is awesome right on the mountain (on the green slope) We are really appreciate that we can do a late check out, it works perfectly for us. Highly recommended this house! Thank you
We had a great time with old college friends. It's well set up for a large group.
Amazing house, close to both the mountain and a couple great golf courses. The house was perfect with two separate hang out places and an attached living area for those that wanted to be separated from the group. Would absolutely love to stay in this house again if giving the opportunity. Thank you for letting us enjoy your home!!
We had a wonderful time staying at this property on okemo. The location of the house was amazing, right off the sachem trail. The house is perfect for a big group, many bedrooms and the separate apartment was a nice feature. Dave was very responsive to any inquiries.
This large house was perfect for our group of 18, with plenty of room to spare. Can't beat the ski on ski off location. Owner was very responsive and positive to deal with. Would definitely recommend and book again.
Really well organized and large home on the Sachem trail at Okemo. We had 22 people in the group, ages 5-45. Everyone had a good trip with place to spread out as well as hang together. The house is on the rustic / ski cabin side, but overall well appointed. Make sure you have a 4*4 or snow tires in the winter. Two suggestions for the owner: 1) Additional non-stick pans for eggs / breakfast in the morning. Not enough currently for large groups. 2) The path up and down from the slopes is ill-defined. We had a number people slip and fall. I’d recommend a clear path from the house there along with some non-slip stairs to get to the slope. Overall we would stay again in the future! It worked out really well.
Wonderful House….very big, clean and tidy, social areas fantastic for a family reunion
Great house for a large group (we were 19.). Right next to sachem trail. Just a short uphill walk out the front door. Kids loved the Foosball. Enough seating for everybody for dinner (two long wide tables). Well equipped kitchen. Large mud room. Plenty of wall space in the garage to hang the skis/boards. This place is def made for skiing.
We enjoyed a few nights at this wonderful ski house with our kids & grandkids. Place is HUGE and everyone had plenty of room to spread out. Beds were comfy; lots of plates, utensils & tables to enjoy meals - and right on the ski trail so we could ski in & out! Owner was very friendly & ready to answer all of our questions. Great vacation!
We have a big family, 20 people ages 6 months to grandparents. This place is perfect for us, allowing everybody to spread out a bit and also with big spaces for the whole family to congregate. We noticed several small improvements compared to our stay at this property last year. The kids especially loved the 2nd floor game room. The grown ups enjoyed the hot tub quite a bit. The ski in ski out access cannot be beat, but if you have beginner skiers you have to be sure that the Sachem lift is operating so you can ski beginner terrain back to the house. Lately, Okemo sometimes closes the Sachem lift during weekdays and only opens it on weekends. A few small criticisms would be that I wish there were regular cable tv in the place to watch live sports (nfl). The place has a few large very nice smart tvs, but not cable tv. You have to stream anything live that you want from a subscription service or your own home provider. Also a few more towels and maybe some toiletries (shampoo, shower gel, etc) like a hotel would be great. It’s also fine if they are not provided, but just let people know in advance. Overall very happy with our stay. The owner is very responsive. Would recommend the place for any big group.
Loved the location of our Christmas stay in Vermont. Perfect place on the mountain for access to skiing and snowboarding. Definitely recommend 4wheel drive in the winter as the driveway is difficult to access.
