Spectacular view. Solitude, quietness. Would liked it to have been cleaner.

Most spectacular view from the deck. Absolutely breathtaking. Has all kinds of amenities. Outside fire pit. Needs a little TLC and cleaning. But I would rent it again if in the area. Very convenient to all the waterfalls.

Love this place! Gary is a great host. This was our 3rd time staying here. That should tell you something. ;-) We like the Brevard area and there are many places to fish that are near by.

Gary met us at the cabin and was very friendly. The cabin was very clean and close to the pretty place. The setup is a little awkward but has tons of room.

Great location, close to downtown Brevard. Only around 30 minutes to downtown Hendersonville. Host was great. The chalet was cute, but could have been cleaner. It had everything you would need and the view was perfect!

The host was amazing, the fireplace as well as the fire pit was prepared and ready for us! Very clean and laundry soap and extra toiletries were available. Mr. Gary was so hospitable. Our group enjoyed the stay!

Gary was great, and is about as easy-going as they come. The property and view are absolutely stunning, and there is plenty of room indoors and for outdoor activities. Fire pit and grill downstairs for cookouts and keeping warm, and an amazing mountain view for your sunrises and sunsets. We are very happy we picked Gary's beautiful cabin to stay, and I hope we get to stay again next year!! Thank you for making this such a great experience for me, my family, and my friends!!!

Great location, beautiful views, the cabin has so much personality. We had a girls’ weekend with six of us coming and going and had no trouble with parking and room for all to sleep. Gary was very friendly when he met me to check in and made sure I got all the info I needed, and was very helpful when one of us left an item behind. Great place for a getaway.

The location and view from the house is ideal but the house has not been maintained well. Several closet doors and the pocket door from kitchen to master bath were broken or difficult to work. The downstairs bedrooms I slept in was musty smelling and I couldn’t open the window because there are no screens on the window which was ground level. The towels are worn and had a mildew smell. Downstairs layout is awkward with very little privacy, esp in the bathroom.

Convenient for our group. Check-in and check-out very good.

We spend a wonderful time it’s a beautiful place.But I’m not complete happy with the cleaning .they need to up date the place.

The location was great and the view was beautiful. The house really needs updating! The linens , towels, etc need to be replaced. The bathroom downstairs needs complete walls not half the way up. There needs to be new furniture as I had to put a pillow on the recliner because the cushions were so old it was gone! The window unit is right beside the tv so when you have the unit on the tv has to be very loud. And it’s the only unit for the whole house. This house has potential but needs a lot of updating and replacing.

Such a great place with an awesome view. This was our second visit. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a place to relax. Close enough to town if you need amything.

We stayed here with friends for our first joint family vacation and it could not have been more perfect! We felt right at home as soon as we arrived. Gary was so helpful and nice, and the views from the property are absolutely stunning. We saw a ton of wildlife around the property (deer, turkey, chipmunks, a huge woodpecker and an albino squirrel)! Would absolutely stay here again!

Our trip got off to a late start. We were 1.5 to 2 hours later than we had originally planned. But Gary was understanding and waiting on us to get there at 930 at night. He left us a bottle of wine for our stay. The home is gorgeous, clean and cozy. But that view of the sunset over the mountains was absolutely beautiful!!! I would definitely stay here again.

Host was amazing. Gave my group some insight of the area and had the wood fireplace ready to go. The host had the cabin very well stocked with household items and toiletries. The views of the surrounding mountains were absolutely beautiful. My only complaint is that the photos of the listing showed a telescope on the back porch, but there was no telescope to be found upon arrival. The overall experience was absolutely wonderful

Great location and beautiful scenery. Inadequate pots/pans/utensils. Had to clean bathrooms and kitchen when we arrived! The Host was very friendly. I didn’t confront him with the issues.

Nice quiet area close to Brevard

This property owner straight up BLOCKED us from doing our event, EVEN THOUGH it was listed as A-Okay per the written property guidelines “events are allowed up to 30 guests, weddings” Saying “i’Ve hAD tROubLe in the pAsT wITh tHE pOLiCe” ….and said no to parties!? The week of the wedding event! And then claimed he never put that on there and this and that vrbo put it on there….. AND he approved this and knew about this event for a month and half earlier….what a joke of a host. DO NOT USE this host — he should be off the platform And VRBO support was absolutely useless— they never contacted me to follow up on my request, and each time I checked on the request, they kept telling me the same thing, that “GLOBAL CONNECT NEEDS TO MANUALLY REVIEW THIS.” I never received any communication about a resolution, even several weeks after my initial request.
