Cottage was very cozy with the lake at your fingertips and a full view of the lake was very pretty at sunrise. Fully stocked kitchen, clean. A perfect get away that was peaceful. Paulina, the host, was very accessible and accommodating. Lots to do in and around the area…train rides (Jim Thorpe), horseback riding, hiking, shopping.

This was the 2nd year for us. We had to get maintenance there and he was there in 15 min. Great location for deer and scenery. Everyone enjoyed themselves and Paulina was a great host. Thanks again and hopefully we see you next year.

We were excited about going to the lake we've been going to different lakes over the past 5-6 years using VRBO. This time we were drawn to the fact that they offered kayaks and other things to use on the lake. However they failed to report to us that the lake was cited unsafe to swim in due to high e coli. There are signs posted everywhere when we got there. And on the posting it said you can swim. We found the article Post it for July 12th and we came in in August. We also found out that the neighbors did the same thing to their renters and did not tell them and they had young children going underwater in the lake. We feel very deceived by this rental property. We reached out we did ask for a small refund for several reasons and heard nothing back from management. We did have a good time at the house for the most part and the house was clean. However the air conditioning is not throughout the house my son slept in a room that was 100 for 6 days with no AC. There was some electrical issues my daughter plugged in a phone charger and got zapped several outlets were not working. We have rent at homes a couple years in a row but this will not be one of them. Please you're looking to swim in any lake in Pennsylvania or anywhere else please look up the lake and see when the last time it was tested and make sure that it's safe before you go. So you're not disappointment on a family vacation with teenagers.

We had a wonderful relaxing stay. Everything was as described, with plenty of room for our family of five plus our dog. The outdoor space was lovely and we enjoyed kayaking, fishing, outdoor seating areas and firepit. Beds were comfortable! There was enough to do in the surrounding towns on one rainy day we had - shopping, cinema, escape rooms.

The host was amazing. House was clean and as expected . Kitchen had everything we needed to prepare dinner for 10. Great location on the lake. Kids had so much fun using the kayaks and paddle boat. The only down fall was that the lake had E.Coli and we were unable to swim. We did use the amenities that the community has to offer: pools, splash pad, mini golf. The pool pass was 12 per person per day. Overall great place to stay. Perfect location!

Stayed as a group of 10 ladies who love the outdoors and kayaking/paddle boarding. This house was perfect for that in every way. Loved being able to walk a few steps to get out on the water anytime we wanted. The deer come right up to the house too! So neat! While there was a little issue at first, the owners were there fast and took care of it! We will definitely stay here again!

Went away for a girls weekend and a few things to note before booking:- we were told we needed license and registration for checking into the welcome center. We weren’t told this is a lengthy/ inefficient process, 30 minutes, not the best start to vacation - the outside of the house leaves a lot to be desired. Likely why there are no photos. Inside was mostly clean but did have a lot of flies/ little gnats built up in the dining room. Basic things VRBOs usually have were missing - dish soap, extra trash bags, etc. The downstairs bedroom was crowded with a set of bunk beds and a crib plus the queen bed. All beds were comfortable but no top sheet so we did pack our own. - the backyard/ lakefront was the best part but still left a lot to be desired. The dock has seen better days, the one side of the railing was detached so you couldn’t put weight on it. The fire pit had chairs around it with wood slabs on the seats instead of cushions. The kayak and paddle boat were in good shape but the paddle board wasn’t and the listing said 2, there was only 1. The grass you walked through to get to the dock was overgrown and needed to be cut. Overall, we made the most of it, spending our time mostly outside and had great weather but did have a different experience compared to the 5 star reviews we read.

It is a nice place to stay. House has everything what you might need during your stay on the lake . Unfortunately, we had rainy weather during our visit, but still were able to use boats few times , and spent few hours by the fire pit. Shed on the property has few bicycles , including few for kids , as well as various sizes of life jackets.House is also has two bunk beds, which my kids enjoyed very much . Kitchen is nicely equipped, propane grill on the property operates smoothly. Very easy check in and check out process, Host is very accommodating and responds very quickly to any questions, that you might have . It is a convenient location to the major grocery stores.

I recently stayed at this beautiful cabin in the Poconos, and it was an absolutely amazing experience! The house was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. We especially loved the kayaks—they made for a perfect day out on the water. Evenings by the fire pit were peaceful and just what we needed to unwind. The whole setup was perfect, and I’d highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable, nature-filled escape. We’ll definitely be coming back!

The property was beautiful, sitting right Lake Carobeth. Within the first 20 minutes we were greeted by a friendly deer! The house was very clean and comfortably slept 5, each having our own queen bed and 2 bathrooms was a great plus.

Our family has been vacationing in the Poconos for a long time.We stayed in the Big Bass Lake community at the same location for years. Unfortunately that place is no longer available. for the past 3 years we tried 3 different rentals & were dissatisfied. Then we tried here. Bingo !.We had a terrific time & will be returning. On the down side The weather was on the chilly side,(58) the thermostats were locked, the fire place was off,so no heat. Yes we could have called the homeowner part we were all fine. Thank you again.See you next year.

Not much to look at from the outside, but clean and updated on the inside. Right on the lake with many boats, and kyaks. Fishing was fun and the community pool is nice. The shed is full of life jackets, paddles, bicycles, water guns. There are board games in the house. There is no way to be bored here. Sitting around the fire pit at night roasting Marshmallows with the family was great.
