I recently had the pleasure of staying at this cute little house, and it was an absolute gem of a getaway. The coziness of the space was perfect, and it immediately felt like a home away from home. We settled right in, and every corner of the house seemed to be thoughtfully designed for comfort and relaxation. What truly stood out, however, was the exceptional hospitality of our host. She was not only kind but also incredibly attentive throughout our stay. Before our trip, she had informed us about the lower lake levels due to the drought, even offering us the option to cancel our reservation. We decided to proceed with our plans because the house itself was so lovely, and we were pleasantly surprised to find that the lake, despite its lower water levels, remained just as beautiful and serene as we expected. I would wholeheartedly recommend this charming lakefront chalet to anyone in search of a simple, tranquil getaway. Our experience was nothing short of fantastic, and we give it a solid 10/10!

My family and I had a great time in the chalet, we enjoyed the tranquility of the place, we were able to rest and relax, it is also a very clean and comfortable place, if you are looking for tranquility and rest, without a doubt this is the right place, also the hostess She is very kind and attentive, we had very good communication. We loved creating memories in the chalet for our family.

I looked at several options and feel so fortunate that I chose this special home. Patricia, our host, made the stay feel especially welcoming with the heaters on, fragrant candles burning and pup treats for the furbaby. She filled the bird feeders so the birds, brilliant cardinals, goldfinch, yellow rump warblers were abundant the entire stay. A few feet from the front door. Patrica is super easy to communicate with also. The location couldn’t have been more scenic and soul refreshing. The “Chalet” felt like a resort but so homey. Well stocked kitchen with modern appliances, wood ready for the fireplace. Waking up in the loft looking out the at the beautiful sunrise and feeling like I slept at the top of the oak tree. Large fenced yard for the dog. Catch (and release for me) big catfish! Great Egrets, Blue Heron, gator in the distance.I plan on returning for a sister trip.

We loved the location of the property. The view and privacy were very nice. The outdoor seating was cute and eclectic, and we enjoyed the patio lighting. The property was very clean and cared for. All appliances worked well, and the manager was extremely attentive to insuring we had everything we needed.

Host was responsive and the residence was perfect.

Pretty, cozy little cabin tucked in on the lake, perfect for a couples get-a-way. Loved sitting on the porch or floating dock and watching the sun come up with a slight fog on the water. Lots of birds and squirrels to keep a person entertained. Even had the pleasure of watching a young alligator trolling across the water. Would certainly recommend.

Patricia has such a keen eye for detail and ensured our stay was absolutely seamless. An absolute angel! First and foremost, the property description was spot on and her lovely cabin was exactly what we expected. The check-in and check-out instructions were incredibly thorough and we had all the information we needed about wifi, troubleshooting the TV, etc. There was bug spray, fishing rods, plenty of fire wood, cooking equipment, basic seasonings and tons more. Our two pups LOVED running around the huge fenced yard and lounging by the lake. We truly could not have asked for a better place to stay and I would highly recommend it to anyone!

This property is just as pictured. It is a cozy, lovely little place with views of the water as your constant companion. It is very quiet and truly “away from it all”. We loved having coffee on the front porch and watching the birds in the morning and having cocktails in the evening by the water with a fire in the chiminea.

Amazing stay at this adorable 2-bedroom, 1-bath lake house, and I can't say enough good things! It’s super dog-friendly, which was a huge win for us. Our dogs loved running around the fenced-in yard, sniffing everything in sight! The house smelled incredible and was stocked with all the kitchen gadgets we could ever need. Make sure to wake up early to catch the sunrise over the lake; it’s totally worth it. We enjoyed watching the sun come up from both the couch and outside—it was such a peaceful way to start the day. I highly recommend this place! The host was super accommodating and easy to chat with, which made our stay even better. Since we live so close to Houston, we’ll definitely be back whenever we need a little getaway!

The rental is in a quiet and peaceful location. Nature is all around you and there are so many sitting areas outside to take it in.. My husband fished and I watched the squirrels and the birds. The floating dock was perfect. The kitchen is equipped with everything. Patricia is an amazing host. She provided restaurants for us to visit. She knew the best place for my husband to get bait.. The house is cozy and has books, games, dvds, VCR tapes and all kinds of things to keep you busy. We will be back, it was a cozy retreat and a great escape from the city.

Beautiful lake front chalet. Great views of the lake. Very quiet and relaxing. We sat outside on the dock and enjoyed our music and food every night. Would definitely come back again.

We loved our stay! The host was so sweet. This was our first time booking on vrbo and we were so nervous but she made the process so easy with all of her instructions.

This was the perfect cozy home for our Mother Daughter weekend getaway. We loved sitting outside and enjoying nature, especially the cardinals! This is our second stay here and I am sure there will be more. Patricia is so friendly and easy to contact. She is a great host! Overall just a peaceful trip!
