Our hot tub can sometimes look a little green due to the Iron in the well water. It is fully cleaned between guests, but the iron can change the water from clear to green as it reacts to the other chemicals used. This can be a tad off putting but rest assure the hot tub is cleaned and balanced between guests. If this happens, let us know and we can direct you to a chemical in storage that we use that temporarily helps keep it clear.
This cottage does NOT have central AC. We have a split unit above the main floor stairs and a window unit in the games room. These help to keep the areas cool but there is no AC in the bedrooms.

Perfect place for a short or a long getaways. We went for a four days (Boys trip) and and the lake house has everything that you need to relax, re-group or to have the family fun time.. We build the skate rink on the lake so the boys could skate during the day and in the eyeing, we enjoyed sauna and Jacuzzi like there was no tomorrow. Games or movie time at night. Perfect! Everything that I was looking for to have a father and son getaway trip. A special thanks to Bryan great host and Catlin who's an absolute champ in costumers service.. Thank you, Arthur
We had a great stay, however didn't end up at this actual property as they had a water problem in the basement. Dave and Caitlyn provided excellent customer service as they moved us to another property that they managed in the vicinity. Although not quite as grand, it was still a lovely week. The hot tub and sauna were wonderful, the house was large enough for everyone to have their own quarters and have hang out space. We did a few winter hikes around Haliburton and went to the Wolf Centre to see their dozen wild wolves as well. Overall a great stay and great service.
