Lake View Chalet in Alpine Lake Resort

Our family including pets and a toddler, had a fantastic time during our long weekend stay. While right across the street from the lake, we spent most of our time enjoying the view, hiking, and fishing. The inside had a well stocked kitchen, large rooms, and great amenities. Some options such as the cedar tub and massage chair you could only use if you pay a fee. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would come back again.

Wonderful stay! This was our 2nd time at Lakefront and it was as cozy as we remembered. There are so many nice details - soaking tub, massage chair, comfy beds, heated toilet seats, wood burning stove, binoculars for bird watching, bird and deer food. We had plenty of snow and it was like a winter wonderland. We also enjoyed playing shuffleboard at the lodge and sledding on the hills at the golf course. The perfect family getaway! Counting the days till we can return.

This was an amazing location with great amenities! The host seemed to think of everything we could possibly need! We had a great time and will definitely be back.

Yes we were able to bring our dog. We originally planned on bringing 2 dogs but unfortunately our 1 beloved dog died a wk before.

This is our second time staying here and we love it. The neighborhood is quiet and lovely, the house is surrounded by trees with beautiful views of the lake from the front porch. The feeding trough is a highlight, we loved seeing the deer (and squirrels and chipmunks) come to eat. We ended up buying our own bag of feed from the Tractor Supply store from going through so much. We also enjoyed the fire pit and making s'mores. The road out front is not busy at all, only local traffic. The host kept us informed of any neighborhood updates and was very responsive. That said, we had no issues, and didn't want to leave. Also, we highly recommend Tomanetti's in Oakland, always delicious.

Great property. Very well stocked. Great location. Comfortable beds. We will definitely try to rent here again in the future.

The house was very nice, clean and comfortable. The beds and towels were also clean. Now I will say that the smoke detector battery needs to be changed. It beeped all weekend and the spiderwebs were everywhere. The house just needs to be dusted .

Another year at lakefront for the family

Before you book you must fill out a 4 page doc usign. That document tells you that you have to pay for the use of the cedar tub, firewood, and more than one trash bag. That should be on the description. Also the massage chair you have to pay for as well. I wanted to add an extra night a week before we went and I quote she said “seriously I just did the paper work”. Cobwebs are everywhere, dust is everywhere and mold is in the shower bad. I wanted to show the photos to the homeowner since they are date and time stamped. I hope they get back with me. The cameras are creepy and the surveillance screen in the kitchen is a little much. The cabin is in a great location, it is beautiful land and outside is probably wonderful in the summer when it’s not all grown up with weeds. The cabin is gorgeous and the layout is nice. Kitchen was clean. Beds were nice.
